Personally I hate it when people DC. I guess if they are blatantly hacking and there are no chances of survival it's okay. But to me it's a game. You will die and you will have to start from scratch. I find that scavenging as a fresh spawnee is one of the most fun aspects of the mod. You're at your most vulnerable time and strategy is key. A solution needs to be found to DCing because we all know how annoying it is when we get the upper-hand and our opponent disconnects; what's even more so irritating is the "If they DC when I shoot them, I'm going to DC when they shoot me" attitude. Generally I think players should be more trusting of other people, co-operation with other players can be fun. Trust is something that's supposed to grow on players over time and if you value your gear so much. Then store your most important items in a well hidden camp before you go around looking for other loot. Perhaps if more people did this then there would be less agressive players that follow the "shoot on sight" basis. The amount of times I've been shot by heavy gear as a fresh spawnee in Cherno/Elektro, but for what? a bandage? Seriously, they could get that from the building that they're laying on's roof.

People have suggested I do DayZ commentary videos. I haven't done any yet but I was intending to start filming either today or tomorrow. I'm UK.

This thread was really interesting, then I noticed two people were arguing over who looks stupid. When in fact they both look quite immature arguing about a game. Frankly this is quite disgusting. People shouldn't be insulted on slight mishaps with their second, or third etc. language. It's good English and while not 100% it's still completely understandable.

So today, after being devoted to my Lee-Enfield rifle for so long. My friend spotted a helicopter crash site. Just minutes ago actually. While I crawled up to the heli despite the fact 20+ military zombies were hovering around. My friend picked them off if they got too close to me with a Winchester. When I finally reached my brand new AS50; naturally I picked it up. As soon as began to pick the gun of the ground. THWACK. Dead. Whilst picking up my long searched for high powered rifle. I was shot by non-other then a high powered rifle. 152 Zombie kills in 2 days. 69 head-shots. 6 player kills. I guess it's karma. Good shot sir!

I had binoculars and I did scan the tree lines actually. He must have been out of view when we were looking.
