No more will we be forced to crawl through mud on our hands and knees, desperately try to launch our boats or hopelessly pull a truck out of a rock. For once again, we can roam the skies.

He's right man, make sure you run steam as admin. Do as I said earlier. Then keep click verify files a few times. Make sure you aren't running any games when you do this and make sure you see "files have finished downloading" appear. Then run both ArmA II and ArmA II OA once, then play :D

Damn that sucks man :s I'm running out of ideas here. WHERE ARE THE DEVS WHEN WE NEED THEM!?? Probably actually working on the next update in hindsight..

Fixed it for me: Installed latest BETA, then went to C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\Steamapps\Common\Arma2 Operation Arrowhead\@DayZ\Addons and deleted everything, then ran six launcher to reinstall it. Now works fine :D

I'm trying this: http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php/ It has a new BETA 95389. Worth a try I guess.. I'll keep you updated if it works or not.

I'm getting this too. I've also tried checking game files. I'm using 6 launcher too :(

For some reason, when I now connect to a game, I get the wait for host screen, then through to the lobby where you see all the players' names in green/orange. Then I get kicked from the game. I do not understand why the game is doing this. It has been connecting fine every other day. Including the early hours of this morning. I am using the six launcher, I have restarted it and tried again and it is still not working.

I have a group of people atm, we play on UK servers, we've got vehicles. Cars, vans, boats. Ghillie suits. But I don't know if we're allowing others to join us..

We've all had zombies chase us for miles on end right? Wouldnt' it be an idea if after X distance from where the zombie was aggroed it stopped chasing you? for a small period of time?

I'm up for being a Medic/Marksman for this. Sounds very fun. I'm also a rather good helicopter pilot. I'd definitely like to join you guys and help out. Especially if we're going to be helping other players and supporting the community in doing so. I'm from the UK, so naturally I play on EU servers.

Also, liquidator. I PMed you. I'd like to be a Field Medic. It should be rather fun in intense fire-fights, I'd more than likely be providing a crucial service.

True you can find it anywhere. But it's a damn good gun. You wouldn't like to get shot by one.

I agree. Then snipers in there ghillie suits with a GPS and NVGs is quite ridiculous in honesty. It doesn't take much luck to be 'shot in the dark' anymore at all.

If we can hardly hit zombies running all over the place since they're so glitchy. How the hell are we supposed to hit a smaller target that's even faster and powerful? If all the dogs have became infected too, then what about all the cows, rabbits and boars? surely they would have to be infected as well.
