I like that you have added the barracks to balota. That will make it a lot easier for newer spawns to acquire higher end weapons. I myself found a PDW and a M4A1 CCO SD right off the bat after spawn.

Great server with lots of cool peeps always on ts3. We have had alot of fun the past couple days, but for now the server is down until tomorrow due to a hacker using a global ban bypass and script hider.

Yep, had a nice team with my squad. Raided NW airfield and found a coyote backpack, saw a couple m4a1's but didn't need them. Other than that, didn't really find anything useful but still had fun.

Can this server be found on dayz commander? me and a couple of buds are leaving our server due to it shutting down soon and looking for a new start. We have some gear and a campsite planned, and some tents, so if we could get in we could immediately start playing.

I attempted to join this server and was getting a "Wait for Host" message. Im assuming that it is just a server side bug that requires it to be restarted. Im interested in joining beacuse I grow tired of all the scripters out there and am looking for a new team to join, as my last one has broken up. I will keep attempting to join, and I hope to see you in game.

This game is not a shoot em up. The variety of weapons currently available is fine, but more weapons would be appreciated as well. First of all, you have to consider where exactly Chernarus is. Due to how spread out russia really is, many of the half-baked laws there only are enforced heavily in cities. If you have seen Long Way Round, the movie where Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman travel the world on motorcycles,(which is actually a documentary film), you should remember that the man they met in a small russian town to the south east owned an ak-74 and a m1911. He even showed it off to the two famous actors! This leads me to believe that many of the weapons in DayZ could actually be found in the huge landscape fairly easily. Secondly. You also should remember that even though these guns DO exsist in DayZ, most are not very common. Even if you happen to get an AS50, generally speaking, you will keep it only for a few days unless you stash it somewhere, and even then there is a good chance it will be found by another curious survivor. Currently, the balance of weapons in DayZ is good as is, regardless of anyone's opinion. As previously stated, this mod wasn't meant to be realistic, as many people mistake it for that. It was just a side idea of rocket's that he actually expected to die down around 2000 players. Besides, who cares if its realistic or not? its a goddamn game. The whole point of it being here is to provide enjoyment.

Hey guys, I'm Dbl. I'm fairly new to DayZ, only been playing for a week or two. Recently me and couple buds have managed to acquire a good amount of supplies and weapons, but as of late we have been going off on our own, not really playing together any longer. Today I decided to check out Pik Kozlova for any chance of an ATV, seen on this map: http://dayzdb.com/map#5.094.127. Anyways, as I neared the pinnacle of this treacherous peak of death and doom, I heard a few muted gunshots and then some flies. Upon hearing them, I immediately hit the deck, raising my m16a2 m203. I scanned the area ahead and saw a lone figure, just barely visible sitting atop the rock outcroppings.Knowing that what I had just heard was him murdering a fellow player, I fired a few shots and got two hits on him, then he fired back. I was hit once, then I managed to get in a lucky shot and took him out. I was bleeding rather profusely, so I bandaged myself. My leg was also broken, but a quick treatment of morphine fixed that. I then looted his body, finding an m1a4 CCO SD. For those you of not acquainted with gun terminology, this means that I found an m1a4 that has a red-dot sight and a silencer. In this case, it was also camoed. Like anyone else in my situation would have done, I quickly grabbed his weapon and ammo then hid the body. Then, I disconnected as fast as I could, considering that the close encounter nearly took my life, bringing me down to 1000 blood. Now, I'm in need of a blood transfusion. Been playing for a week or two and have learned quite a bit about the game. I like to consider myself as someone with quick thinking and reflexes, as well as the ability to adapt and overcome most situations. I'm a good leader once I put my mind to it, though I know when to follow orders and when to state my mind. I am only 15 but I hope that despite this you will consider me a possible asset. I have been leading my little group of friends to victory for the last couple of days, but as of late many of them have grown bored of Dayz. I am now looking for a new group that would appreciate my skills. My only requirements are that you never demean your members nor reprimand for ignorance, only point out the issues and solve them with maturity. In short, I expect this group to be mature and good at communicating, as well as the ability to work well with others. I hope you can fulfill my requirements. Heh....Guys, I was watching InTheLittleWoods stream before I bought the game. They legitly found a tank and fixed it up. it does exist, except its quite possibly one of the rarest vehicles in the game. It is not a hack, at least, it probably isn't, but do realize that it is possible to acquire.

While it doesn't effect you at first, I consider starting with painkillers a very good thing, if not a necessity. Just imagine that you have been looking for some kind of firearm for an hour and manage to find one, only to be stuck in a house in cherno, trying to stay down without the survivors that you can hear firing their weapons all across the city discovering you. If they found you when you were in shock and had no painkillers, the small chance that you would survive would be cut into fourths due to the fact that you can't aim straight. While it may not be an absolutly necessity, I do think that having it as a starting item is a good thing.

Same boat man, Just got ambushed by a guy on pik kozlova, managed to kill him and patch myself up before I died. Once I used my morphine and looted his body, I logged immediately because of my blood level being at 1k. Still, the guy had a silenced red dot sight m16 so im happy, as soon as my friend gets on so he can give me a transfusion :D
