I generally tend to avoid KoS whenever I can. Remember, we were all noobs once, let them be. Unless they see you and try to attack you, then feel free to blow em away. Also if I see you actively ruining someones day for no real reason, like killing fresh spawns and such, consider yourself a target for my sniper.

People like our dear OP are the reason I like to run with a group of people called the Anti-Bandits. Formed back in the original DayZ mod to hunt down douchebags who kill people just for the lulz. Its really satisfying to put assholes like OP in their place.

You know I find that the argument saying that lingor island is not a part of dayz is a load of crap. It may not be the same map but it provides the exact same gametype with the exact same zombies with the exact same players on the exact same engine. To say they are completely seperate is nonsense.

You know darknight, I left a post on your groups thread in these forums, and I still have yet to get a PM or even a response.

After starting a new character I find that i'm practically right next to Cherno, and I see a supermarket on the edge of the city by the coast, so I carefully sneak over avoiding the zeds and keeping a low profile in case of bandits and loot the place. I find a map, compass, watch, food, some cans of soda, and a makarov with a single clip. At first I was like, "ok i'm all set, just need to sneak out of town. Oh hey is that an open building? MUST LOOT!". So I go through a few more buildings and loot them, again avoiding zeds and keeping a low profile by avoiding the streets and sticking to alleys. As I near the edge of town, just walking into the marine hospital area, when I hear some shots from a makarov ring out, naturally I duck down and hide. But as a I hear a few more I realize its not being fired at me, instead its coming frow a couple streets over, so I get up and quickly and carefully loot the what medical supplies I can carry and proceed to quietly book it outta there when I hear more shots ring out. Loud shots, from a high powered rifle of some sort. At this point I am almost frantic, I hear a couple more shots ring out, some from the makarov and some from the rifle. Naturally I assume the poor makarov wielding survivor was spotting and getting shot at. At this point i'm a bit torn. A: Do I help the poor bastard out? Perhaps draw the guys fire so the other can get away? Or... B: Do I keep my low profile betting on the chance I haven't been spotted yet and get the fuck outta dodge? In the end I opted for B, I couldn't see the sniper anywhere and I didnt want to find a place with a view to try and spy him out with my binoculars and give him a clear shot of me. So I stayed low and wished the poor bastard some luck, as the firing went on for a bit and I slowly crawled from the edge of town to the treeline, thing is once I stood up I heard another shot ring out and a puff landed right fucking next to me. I went into panic mode then, I stood straight up and fucking sprinted as fast as I could through the trees, I saw a puff or two from bullets hitting the trees around me but I either outdistanced him, or he just gave up. I didn't know for sure so I just kept sprinting for a good 10 minutes straight north, until I hit a small town and hid in one of the houses, as far as I knew the guy followed me so I was scared out of my wits. I waited a few minutes to see if he would walk in looking for me, had a winchester, which I found in the house leveled at the door way for a minute or two before I decided just to log off. God damn, this game is so fucking tense!

I know what you mean man, makes it feel like a real life experience. I was going through one of the small coast towns on a new playthrough, after some zombies thought my female characters ass looked especially tasty, and found a m1911 pistol, then a czech backpack sitting on the stoop of some unenterable house. Took that thing everywhere with me, stored my double barrel shotgun for a time before trading it off to another survivor for some m1911 ammo and can of pasta. Then I found my winchester. God damn life was good with that thing.... Then some jackass in Vybor shot me after I called out friendly near the store. Thankfully I found another in a barn north of the power station, where I also found a tent and a pdw, near electro. I'm considering going into a low population server, since I want to check out electro and loot some food, ammo and hopefully find another czech backpack or something better.

I'd like to join in as well. Age: 26 I have TS3 Time Zone: EST (NY). Where am I in game: In a barn at the moment..... xD
