Fair amount of heli-spawns, lots of vehicles, AI soldiers at the airfields which add for good loot and action, nice starting loot including food, drink, and a pistol...And best of all me and my friends who are consistent visitors! Oh and I haven't run into issues that plague many other servers like tents not saving, random resets, etc.

There is a server me and some friends have been playing on recently that has great features, active, helpful, and respectful admins, and a conveniently timed day/night cycle...All that is lacking is some players to add to the fun. Just trying to get this server known as I intend to frequent it quite a bit. Would love to see some more traffic to make for a better experience. I have been playing DayZ for a couple of days now and am finding it very difficult to find food and water. My plight is that I am alone, with no one to aid or assist me in my travels. Before even owning the game I was excited to go on zombie patrols, guard camp sites from bandits, etc. but that has not been my reality. As a result, I am sending out a request to any established groups out there to take me on as an apprentice and to aid you in your fight to survive. I am a loyal person who works well in a structured team environment and am willing to take on any and all necessary roles for the best interests of the group. I will be playing for the next 24 hrs basically so lets get this ball rolling!

start heading north? what's with all this talk of the north? and i haven't been able to find a canteen or food cans and i've been searching through a city for almost 3 hours.

Please help me! I`ve been playing for hours and found a bunch of stuff that I don`t want to lose, and I can`t find any animals to hunt or water to drink! I`ve got a hunting knife and hatchet so all I need is an animal to start cooking, but I can`t find any! A canteen seems impossible to find and I am dehydrating quickly...Can I use empty whiskey bottles for water? PLEASE SOMEONE PROVIDE SOME ADVICE AND HELP ME STAY ALIVE!!!

I don't have a mic but am planning on buying one asap. I'm really just having a difficult time surviving without any help or any weapon...I've been playing for a day or two now and it's getting very frustrating. I'm located in Toronto, ON, Canada. Anyone who is serious about surviving I would like to hear from. Bandits are going to hate me once I become established...

I have no idea what ventrillo is and I live in Toronto, Canada, but am on the exact same page as you...mind you I have been playing for a couple of hours now. If you live in North eastern US connection should be good.

I'm confused as to how I'm supposed to properly log out after playing DayZ....i hit "Esc" and basically the only options are "Abort" and "Restart"....so how do I save my game so that I can come back later and pick up where I left off? Thanks and sorry if this was answered before, I tried using the search function and came up with nothing.
