This is just a question related to this thread regarding GSP's that would like to provide Dayz hosting to it's current or future customers. Instead of GSP's submitting each and every customer request for an instance ID, Have you thought about seperating the GSP's from others requests? I understand this is a first come first serve approach, but would't that make things easier on you as well as the GSP? Maybe authorize a block of ID's? to the GSP? A seperate order form maybe? I know I can submit as many requests at a time , but most GSP's would just be taking ID's they may or may not use in hopes of filling them with a customer.. I guess I am just wondering if you are thinking of something that makes the Instance ID approval faster for GSP's... Thanks.

I understand the need to have something to prevent players from leaving while bein attacked but to get rid of respawn to me makes no sense whatsoever. maybe make that a server option for admins rather then deleting all together. today I was spawned in the wilderness, so do I spend half a day to find a town or friends in the game? no .. I loose interest really fast. yes I get the fact that this is a reality mod and making it realitstic is key, but remember that this is just a game and if people have to spend half of their time trying to get population because they can't respawn closer then they will loose interest as I did.

Instead of all the rules for admins, why are there no rules for GSP's to follow? where can anyone rent a dayz server that isn't run by complete noobs or fly-by-night's? maybe there is rules regarding hosting companies but it seems like they have little or no hosting experience and are trying to cash in just because they were lucky enough to get the server files and whitelistings. I know of at least 15 people looking to rent a server personally, but cannot find a reputable place to do so..,

yeah, that would be $50.84 for a 40 slot server in my currency... Thats half the price of a dedicated here... way too high $$...

First of all, to all the trolls... go away little boys. second of all, rocket. I would personally rather you did take this project down for a bit to fix bugs etc. because it's very obvious to EVERYONE that it is getting a bit out of control. your mod is awsome and I do not want to affend you in any way. I would be willing to pay for this mod hands down if admins were able to have more control for their servers. yes, i understand due to the rampant fast forward of players and such that you must be selective on whom or what connects to your fragile database server. regardless of all issues you face, you must also realize that all fan base players will move on in a heartbeat at annoying major glitch's. please, do yourself and the rest of us a favour and if you need to take it down and re prioritize or regroup, do it, period. it would be way better then some of the things that have been going on. also, charge money for it. why? because it will give you some funds for more manpower and resources. sounds like you need it. i am not saying that you should charge an arm and a leg, a can of beans sounds right, but at least it will give you more to work with. I sincerely hope that this mod continues to grow and you get what you need to complete and get to a real release date. that's my rant and thanks for the game. MG Sloth

I would like to suggest that player versus player (pvp) be an option for server admins just like difficulty or 3rd person. Why? some people just don't like it and would rather conquer the game just with the zombie aspect.

I would like to suggest another back pack in the game that would allow you to carry more bolts for your backpack such as a quiver or simular. "attached" is a picture of what I mean for those who don't know what a quiver is. Thanks!

while I agree wth some of the things you say Lady, I could argue just the opposite. the game has already dif varriations. ( 3rd person, recruit, reg and expert.) you did however bring something to the table and that is the fact if there was indeed a pvp and a pve.the pvp would just be reallybad.. not that it's not getting there already. the one thing about sugestions is that it all depends on who is reading them and who likes what. it's not up for you or me to decide , it's numbers. so far I think it's been 50/50 on yes for it. just think what rocket must go through , trying to take all conciderations and make the best decision for the mod community.....

haha, bashing someone for making a suggestion of ideas of a game is rediculas. I am actually a bandit and love the fact that I can take out other players. I am just trying to bring up a point that some people (and I have met many) yes, whinning or crying or whatever you call someone who doesnt share your exact views. would like the option of it just being a zombie survival. you have to remember that there are a large amount of people who can't last very long with just the zombies, no matter how long they play or learn the game. having a pvp or pve option kind of makes the games have different levels. once you are ready, then you hop on a pvp server. I think for most people here, they are just thinking of the loot part as in if there was no pvp they would get all the good loot too easily. that I think is a yes and a no. there has to be a way around that and i agree with 100%. my opriginal post is not to make it easy for people, just to open it up for different levels of players some how. this game is still in alpha and suggestions are bieng taken, so it's just a suggestion. better all these things worked out now then later only to find out 80% of the alpha players were hopeing or epecting that some sort of vpe would be in place and never play again. that is a good version of koombaya though ; )

haha, well I see posts from obvious bandits, and who said i am not one of them? haha. I am just suggesting some people do not like it and would like it an option. of course "not" the bandits themselves ; P
