Certainly agreed that we hit the "realistic" barrier in a LOT of places in this mod. Murderous nature is definitely one of those places. The naïve like to tell us that "killing will be the way" if society disintegrates. I disagree. It will occur, but on a small scale. There is no psychological reality to murder here, and no accountability, so killing in this case is NOT a semblance of reality.

It depends on the server, these days. Server wide chat was part and parcel to the overall experience, originally. Rocket, the mind behind this mod, wants it removed so that communication is short range to heighten the desperation of the experience. If you try pressing . Or , you may find that you see the mod cycling through chat channels like vehicle, direct and so forth. With current builds of the game, everything except direct communication might be disabled. I don't know. After running around, I can look at a building and tell you if it's gng to have scrap metal in it. Usually factories and the like. It's not all that rare, IMHO. L

My recollection is that if players joined immediately after a reset, during script loading, certain scripts could get interrupted and never load... Like vehicle scripts. If locks are short, it's usually to slow the rush of connection spamming users. The net code here works but by most accounts is creaky and not particularly robust. L

From what I've read they are rated to 100c and can run their entire lifespan at that temperature without detriment. L
