I would prefer if there was a better way to communicate in game besides typing. Channel based radios have been mentioned. I would like to find a radio and start trying to hear if anyone is on any channels. Listen for a bit, to see what they're up to. Maybe I would hunt those people, or maybe ask to join them. We could then coordinate effectively.

Low count typically is night time, hardcore, needs restart (no real loot available). There are a tonne of "hacked" or questionable servers lurking out there......

Run up a steep hill. If you find the right angle, you can run while they try to walk up. Run through a building with two entrances. Lots of barns are like this. Weave through trees. Find a nice big pine tree when they are further behind and fling yourself down on the ground underneath it.

Are you all playing 1.7.1.5? Connected next to electrosavodsk and grabbed an axe. I headed north to the castle, grabbed a 1911 I found on the floor, and got a Winchester.... Headed north to check out Pobedo dam but no one left anything fun up there... But I hit a couple towns on the way up and now I've circled back to the airfield. I find it fun and a bit challenging sometimes, but not impossible! Give yourself some time to get used to how it works.

I agree with the OP. Seeing things like that first video is great. Unfortunately... yeah, what he already said. A long time ago (I think the forum restart ate the thread), I asked after RP servers, because among other things, I thought this kind of thing would be prevalent. People playing to MAKE the game experience interesting and lively, not coming to the game trough and then complaining. If you're BORED and there's nothing to do, can't you please go play something that fits your attention span better? There are a million things to do in this game, and all of the people playing PEW PEW games are fogging everything up.

I take my griefing seriously. After a pretty harsh death (like drowning because you know, I climbed down a LADDER)... If I respawn near cherno or elektro, I will drop all my gear and just start running through the towns. As I gather a huge train of zombies, as was said earlier, I do my best to introduce them to other players. Indeed, hilarious.

Learn what the aggro sound sounds like... and have more situational awareness. You should know where every zombie is that MIGHT come after you, and be using ALT to look at them as you progress along. If one screams, or runs towards you, jump up and sprint away immediately. You will catch a lot of zombies, and then have to ditch them through various methods. I do this for fun.

I really don't want to lambaste you. They try to keep me happy... but I can't ... help myself... OH MY GOD! ARE YOU FUCKING HIGH??? Do you think anyone sits on these servers 24/7 watching over the server console? Puh-leese. The people that can afford to provide these servers for your empty-headed entertainment are working at JOBS and doing other PRODUCTIVE things. That's why they have the MONEY to pay for the server that you are over here falsely tattling on. You don't even know how the mod works at a server level, yet you level these accusations and INSIST AFTER a reasonable explanation is provided. You see an admin connect, and something happens, and it's immediately the admin's fault.... Correlation does not prove causation. Believe it.... I'm so tired of people just assuming that admins have these amazing powers when it's been stated over and over again that they do not. Then, of course, they run to these forums to tattle like little school yard kids... they know that much. Argh. Ahem. /rant. Seriously, dude. I don't like letting him out. It sounds like they did everything that they could, but like, those guys have jobs and stuff. Sounds like it was lucky that they got to the console at all, thanks to some alert community member knowing who to contact.

What if when you pressed ALt-F4, you could still log out, but it put your character into shock. This state would cause you to be unconscious when you reconnect. Also, take away the respawn button.

Right, so if someone alt f4s, then when they reconnect, they will be unconscious for like 5 minutes. It would stop people using alt f4 as a cheat, I would think.

I don't recall anyone saying they were ever stuck by a bug... They usually kill...
