You are ignorant. It has been stated explicitly that zombies are not despawning and that the stationary ones are deliberate to stress test. Thanks for playing. -

The point remains, and it is a simple one. Here, in the arena where killing amounts to nothing, it's beyond the simulation of reality. I know, I know, you Internet tough guys and guys who want to seem all cool and sociopathic want to make the very invalid point that people will go crazy in a crisis, but the fact is that 99.999999% of the population is not wired that way, and despite your wet little fantasies, unless you're posting from some kind of major incarceration right now, youre just not that 0.000001% you think you are. So let's all admit that the mudder rate for pixels is and always would be much higher than flesh and blood and move past that point. -

I had a lot of the 'teleporting back' issues. I passed a particular building a number of times before being able to continue. I got to a pond, drank a coke and went to go in to fill my empty water bottle. I was teleported back about 20 seconds, and after a few seconds, I made the 'coke drinking sound'. I think that bugged my character or my gear, because I could not fill my water bottle after that, nor drink from the full one that I had. On trying to disconnect to the lobby to attempt to re-log, the game crashed again. That's twice in a few hours of testing. -

OK, I crashed while in a 'supermarket' in Berezino. Not sure if it was the rain, but I was able to run, full speed, from the 'fire station' or schoolhouse or whatever there in Berezino all the way to the market south-east of there, on the road, in the rain. I saw several zombies, some as close as maybe 30 meters, but they did not react. After I crashed, I could not reconnect (only tried once, so far), and was stuck at 'Loading...' OK, server is full :D Loved seeing the zombie count approach 1,000 :o -

I spawned in right where I disconned yesterday (I crashed in 1.7.2). Zombie aggro seems perfectly manageable. I deliberately crouched around Berezino or a while, agitating the local zombie population in the open and among the houses and fences. I was still able to easily lose them by going indoors (despite the proliferation of annoying tank traps and wire fences on this server). I drew a few into the forests and hills and was able to lose them through the trees and by lying down with enough of a lead. Frame rates are good ( for me) and jump about 40% when inside. It seems like bleeding is slowed down. Once I got hit, it seemed like I was losing at the rate of about 100-150 every two seconds or so. I haven't been hit enough yet to figure out if the bone breaking thing is more manageable (still carrying some morphine, just in case!) -

Working fine for me. I installed the beta, then moved the executable from the beta directory to replace the original arma2oa.exe. I made sure that my launch options in steam included the beta and mod paths... Working fine... -
I think... You are out of touch with what is going o with this mod, and you are wishing it was a full release game, which it is not. I look forward to the next hotfix, and seeing how it performs. Not rolling back. This is a forward moving process, not one designed to let you keep playing the comfortable "last best" patch. We are assisting with testing and experimentation, not status quo comfort.

No, they shouldn't. They should expect us as testers to suck it up and not care, and start again with our heads held high. You are talking about what should happen with a full release, sorry.

How many of you keep the music on while playing?

I turn it off and try for every sound related advantage. My hearing is not the best, so I use my headset, and not my speakers, and I only have in game sounds. I wouldn't mind having the music, but if I missed something, I'd be pretty pissed. -
More difficulties :) I was able to find the time to play for a bit this morning, and it was great. It does seem to me that the zombie "aggro" is a bit more,... Difficult to predict, which is great. I think this "exponential" thing will work well! In the previous version, I couldn't tell you the last time I aggro'd a zombie that I didn't mean to. I can confirm that they still walk inside buildings (I love those triple barns near the Berezino market/hospital area. Damn, I still can't find a vehicle. So give us more.. Make the game more difficult. More non-bug challenges, and keep on with the bug fixes. A salute to the web moderators, the server admins, hosting companies and the dev team as well as all of you players that make this game so fucking fun for me.

I have been playing since 1.4ish. When the zombies were a pain, I kept playing, knowing it would be adjusted. I adapted, and overcame. I've NEVER. Had a food and drink spawn problem. I guess I adapted and overcame so fucking maliciously that I steamrolled your reason for tears. I recognize what this is. I see the patterns of the future and I don't worry. I KNOW that things will change and update and be more playable and more challenging. I'm here to be challenged. To say "FUCK THIS IS TOUGH" and come back and still fucking beat that shit. How about you? -
