I think people need an analogy here. You have volunteered to help test a car as its designed. Sometimes, you get the engine on the bench and test it. Sometimes, it's the brake system. Maybe door latches. So what's happening, is people are complaining that there is no trunk lid on the car when the dev team wants to see if the new clutch cable works. Saying its fine now is like telling the design team "ok the ac and interior are great and the radio works. Just release the car now" Most of us realize that they haven't gotten to how the transmission gearing will work or what size tires the thing will have. It's in it's infancy, it's only partially finished. It's going to break all over the fucking place. It's fine that people want to let the debs know that something is broken, and they are soliciting feedback... But as the op said, acting entitled, or as though the mod should "roll back" because you're having less fun or don't like that something is broken or too hard is not the way. Just wait and adjustments will be made going forward, not backward. Let them focus on the parts of the system they want to add and give it time. Play something else when it's too broken for you... After checking to see if the problems you're experiencing are already mentioned.

Someone once suggested that people could choose to be a group, and then that group would spawn at a random location. They mentioned using cards or something, but that was the meat of it. Remember, what happens in Kamenka, STAYS in Kamenka!

It will be backwards compatible. Vehicles and tents are server specific. Gear that one carries should travel with the character. I would say that how it works... is right now it doesn't work. You will hear it time and time again, this is a beta test of a mod, and things like this can happen. I can't say that I've seen this specific issue, but given the flood of 'me too' posts and redundant 'bug reports' going up, I've stopped really paying attention. I suppose that the main question would be when you say the same version, are you talking about the experimental one (1.7.2.1), or the last released set of files (1.7.2). If it's the latter, I would not expect any level of consistency or real playability. That's being fixed now but it isn't yet. So it is probably frustrating, but we just have to ride it out.

You WILL lose your gear, sooner or very sooner. Stop clinging to those pixels. It's a lot more interesting moving forward than not. (See sig below)

Any chance of adding some servers, Ander? I'm west coast US, currently, and all of these are 180+ ping for me. It would be nice to have something for those of us far from the EU.

Just once, people should realize that they're not playing on x-box. There is some knowledge required to test a mod like this, and if a person can't figure it out, then maybe that person should stick to normal game releases.

It's not 1989 any more. Learn how your computer works or you will be at the mercy of the Geek Squad form the rest of your life. What you're saying is akin to saying " I dont have time to figure out how to cook food. I have to eat fast food all the time.."
