Well, since I've been around (admittedly not so long), they've done it once. The script writers seem to be winning the arms race hands down. And given that, as many have pointed out, these are really hacks associated with Arma II, not particularly DayZ, one wonders if anything really can be done. For myself, I've just decided that it's not worth letting it get to me... Best to have a good time. Anyone got any SVD Camo mags?

So I had settled on US602 as a home server and now, of course, it's shutting down on 31 July. So, can anyone recommend a good server that keeps up with restarts and isn't dominated by some clan? I play mornings at 4 am pacific and I'm on the US West Coast.

Admins don't have those kinds of commands and powers. So by definition, it was a scripter or hacker... Even if the player happened to be the server admin.

Pro tip: programs will close faster if you find it in processes, right click and select "End Process Tree" (or whatever the process tree option is) -
Hmmm. Ok. I've been killed by terrain while prone and turning before, but not crouching.

Try chatting in the lobby... And try different channels by pressing . (the period key) -

You have a bad launch option. -beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion Also, make sure that you have the beta arma2oa.exe in place of the older one in the operation arrowhead folder. -

Nah, all of the characters have broom handles duct taped to their arms so they won't bend. This makes for "realistic" effects trying to get through doorways. Zombies can break your bones and even knock you unconscious on a certain percentage chance. -

I don't THINK that should matter.... We have three accounts on two computers here and no problems. You should probably look up how to find the cd key in your registry. I noticed that if you log into one steam account, then another on the same windows account, it will still assume you are the first guy, even overwriting the cd key from the first account in the registry. To be sure, sign out of steam on both computers. Sign back into steam account 1 on computer 1 Make a new user account in windows on computer 2 Sign into that new windows account, then into steam account 2 on computer 2 ??????? Profit

There have been about 200 reports in the cheating" thread in about the last 36 hours. I think this is a generic complaint, not an attempt to get one person banned. -

Agreed. The guns are also completely insensitive to any wear and tear. Aren't some of these pretty easy to knock out of whack in real use? -

To throw,Mohave the item in inventory (not backpack) and cycle with F until it shows up in the up right. Don't forget to cycle back. It sucks to be tossing flares when you want to be firing bullets. Binocs are B V is for vaulting over objects. Rolling is Q and E when you are prone on the ground. Use an online map to find loot. Dayzmod.info has one. I like the one at dayzdb.com.
