I wish I could be more definitive, but yesterday I had a couple crashes and a server restart unexpectedly while driving. It was a pain, but in each case, I was able to find the vehicle. In one case, I was further back than I had travelled, and the van was ahead of me... So check your whole trail.

From what I understand, yes, it's a modified short range attack based on pistols. I can't be too definitive, but that seems to be what they did with the axe and crowbar, too I kinda wished the crowbar would have been a faded orange :)

Ander, people are starting to put up posts with helicopters in them? One guy claims he found one where it's supposed to spawn at the air field.. Another guy just kind of...had one in his group. So do you still state that there aren't any legitimate helicopters out there?

How come every time I see screenshots of likely hacked things, the command interface that's not used at all in Dayz is somehow open?

There are literally piles of night vision goggles. People have been duping them constantly.

Bullets, down range at high velocity is what I usually see.

How vehicles work: The server is restarted (sometimes, I think, by arrangement so the people in the know get the vehicles) Then the vehicles spawn, and people grab them and go hide them. Looking at the supposed spawn points is almost useless. Look in the woods, particularly along the west edge of the map.

Didn't I read somewhere, for the flashlight bug, that you could look straight down and somehow that would fix it? I was at Klen this morning just before dawn and I flicked the light on and off on my M4A3 CCO. That was fun.
