Well, battleye caught some of them.... And banned them.... But is this just the next group? It seems like battleye doesn't al with the actual scripting, just getting rid of the current crop. Like pulling weeds but leaving the roots.

I carry a couple cans... But I also try to run the vehicle dry before I disconnect and park it far from a fuel source while keeping the Jerry cans on my person. I figure its at least a small hurdle if someone finds the vehicle. It would be nice if we could take off the tires or something.

Sniper ammunition is not rare. Nothing is rare. Unfortunately, item duplication is rampant such that innocent players find it easier to just loot other people's camps which are full of duplicated gear. I found a bunch of M107 mags and 7 nv goggles in a bus yesterday. Sure, this could have been the fruit of the labours of twenty people working for weeks.... But I doubt it.

Let's help the community here. If you're on a server or just got griefed by a scripter (hackers write the scripts. Scripters are just users of someone else's work found on Google), then post here to warn other players. This is not a thread for punishment or banning, just tonyelpmyour fellow players to avoid the hacked servers. No need for evidence, just which server and the time stamp of your post will do, then people can avoid that server and play somewhere else for a while. Kind of like a tornado warning. If the concept works, I can set up a twitter with "hack warnings" like storm warnings.

I imagine my character as somehow wearing gigantic, clunky, impractical Frankenstein boots. I was wondering if they play-tested and this amount of noise at least gives other players some chance to hear you... Because in reality, depending on background noise, you would hear someone from relatively far away, especially with crap all over the ground... But in a game, who knows.

Third time this suggestion has come up... And yes, it would lag the shit out of servers, and it would all be people writing fuck and drawing dicks. For gods sake, people are drawing dicks with the black circles on maps on the servers. Too many juvenile minds playing. Bad idea.

To explain more fully: Battleye does not ban you the moment you use a script, or the next time you log in after using a script. It waits and then bans a ton of people at once. So, it doesn't matter if you were working or on vacation. If you used any illegal scripts PRIOR to that... And not just the last time you played... They could slap you. So, you have to think about whether you did or not. Don't bother denying it to us... It won't do any good, and people will probably not believe you. You have to contact battleye yourself. The contact info is easy to find in this section of the forums where rocket posted and asked people not to appeal global bans here.
