The problem is that people have TOO MUCH control over what they can and can't do in their servers now, what used to be cool about DayZ is the fact that Day and Night happened - then the babies came along and made day only servers. I personally think night time is one of the best things in DayZ, spare NVG, I think they ruin night time completely. The fact I can't find any server running normal day/night is depressing, they are all either day only or day only when people play, I loved going around with my friends with different coloured chemlights on us to differentiate each other. It adds so many depths that day time just can not offer. There was a few problems with night time, and no, pitch blackness was NOT one of them, mainly zombies seeing you as if it was day, hackers, and NVG. (I know hackers will be there in day too, but at night they are even more ridiculous, at least if you 1HKO a godmoder, they die.) Obviously the main problem at first was the fact that you can server hop to daytime servers, but a lot of people still played at night time. You see all these private hive servers that start you with a sniper, NVGs with FULL MOON NIGHTS (lolwuuuuut????) and biggest backpacks etc. That isn't DayZ at all, it's basically CoD. Now there is so many babies on DayZ that any old server which just wants to play how the game should be played has literally no players on it, because most the people who want what I just said are forced to play on said baby-catering servers. /endrant

The server is linked to the master server, if this group of people want to play together without hackers, they should password it. This kind of thing WILL NOT WORK when they are restarting the server after being picked off by two legit snipers!! Go back to around page 5 or 6 I believe, where it's one guy aiming his L85 at the head of one of the 'colony', for 10 min there's no problem with the server, then as soon as he gets capped, the server loses connection? Yeah okay. Stop backing them up because they helped you when that isn't even part of the problem, the problem is they are abusing admin to ban/kick 'hackers' when they don't have proof (which is massively against the rules)

Oh right, nevermind then, still got that video from a few pages back where the server magically disconnects the second their little scrub colony gets under attack ;)

Ice, I hope when I make the thread on the report forum you will be there to back me up with your evidence, they can't ban you for something they put in the game themselves!! (trading) You can't get banned for stealing even if you did, the server admins just bought a server and think they can do whatever they want, as if all the servers aren't linked up or something.

I don't hack, I don't condone hacking, and I never will hack. Go and read the 'server rules' made by rocket. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO KICK SOMEONE UNLESS YOU HAVE 100% SOLID PROOF THEY ARE HACKING. You can't kick based on an assumption, and you also can't turn off the server because your buddy died/you are being shot at (which there is already solid video proof of said thing happening.) On the same token you can't kick someone because they shot you, either. Also; it's kinda funny you call me ignorant, when you instantly start assuming I am part of whatever it was that went down, that kinda makes you the ignorant one, I am simply gathering facts about this corrupt server to get it blacklisted so we don't have idiots like the admins here running around with their own business, so I am the opposite of what you tried to brand me as thank you very much.

Nono, it wasn't the weapons that they had that were bad; it's the fact they were utter crap at aiming them. They put a clip in us both first and only broke our legs.

Walked to Stary the other day with a mate, we were gearing up for a bit, I had an AKM (since they drop as often as empty cans there) and my friend an m16. Low and behold, two guys rush us both with M4 silenced, I kill both of them, we get good guns, and conveniently, they happen to have all the parts needed for the car that spawns there! Silly rabbits.

If you ban mindlessly, I hope you are removed from the hive master server. This gives you an unfair advantage over other people because you can go and farm NWAF for anything you want, lets say NVG, and go terrorize other servers. If you want somewhere that only your friends can play, password your server (which will again remove you from the master server but this is the only option for you)

Hilarious thing is, this is a more legit way to ban people (albeit innocent) than 3/4 the server admins out there that ban the server when their little precious pink van of doom gets stolen with all their phat loots in it. But still, no.
