    Problem with direct chat/voice

    Flyswatterninja posted a topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting

    So I was on US 183 with a small group last night/early this morning and we were approaching a barn. One of the group members noticed a dead walker on the floor, and about 70 meters away were a few more dead zombies. We heard walking from one of the upstairs areas of the barn, the sound of someone drinking a soda, and someone reloading. When we tried to make contact to find out of there was someone in there, neither direct chat or voice worked. (the group i was with couldn't hear each other over direct voice or read any messages in direct chat) so my question is, what happened there?

    Fairly new to the game, so still learning the controls and that (dont put me behind the wheel of a car or a chopper, it will crash). Longest I've been able to survive is about 3 and a half hours on my own. I love the concept of this game and I'm looking for a group to run with. hit me up, email is in my bio.
