I must agree on above mentioned. I have played DayZ since start May. After some time the hackers took over. After searching and trying many whitelisted servers I finally found this. - I have tried a few others meanwhile but noone like this. I was starting up a huge project for public servers, but the hackers just killed it. I am now playing almost daily on this server. Basically I do not play on any other server unless I need major action (Namalsk servers). We have only 1 admin. But I have never met an admin so dedicated who himself is just as active as he's taking care of bugs etc. - BIG THANKS TO YOU MAC! Our events every Friday is just hillarious! Last Friday we had so much fun. Almost everything was running just smoothly. Alot of kills and generally just very much fun and good communication between everyone. About us: CPD - Chernarus Police Department is a completely new concept. We are a small society (aiming to get bigger), who wants to try to keep the 'streets' of Chenarus clean for civilised individuals who wish to play the game to survive CPD's main goal is to take care of the Bandits and help anyone in need. Maybe someone who needs an escort. PLEASE NOTE: We are currently working on a temporary website. How we operate: Our main priotity and goal for CPD is to successfully develop a forum which is for the public to use as a security option. We are willing to take care of Bandits and to help out anyone in need of assistance. This means, escorting 'Medics' to a survivor - Helping out survivors - Watching over the big cities for survivors to go in and scavenge etc. So basicly, we want to make sure that you, as a suvivor, is safe to walk the streets of Chernarus! This means that you "call 911" and let us know your specific location and other optional detailed information which we can accuire to provide the best quality assistance we can. We will then scout the area for you, making sure that you can walk into a hospital or a major city for loot without getting killed. Whenever we get more people whitelisted (people will need to get whitelisted, just as well as being a Medic. You need to prove your worth), we will create small escort groups that will follow alongside the player in need, making them feel even more secure. How do I get Whitelisted? To be a Whitelisted 'Officer', you will need: 1. To help a player in need of, escort, protection or anything alike. 2. Ask them politely to go to this thread and post about their experience with you. 3. One post about your heroic actions may not be enough. Remember, not everyone is alike! We will go through the posts every now and then and make sure to whitelist everyone who deserves it! How do I get help? It's really easy actually. All you need to do is: 1. Post your situation - Make sure to explain if you need an escort, if you have spotted a Bandit (prove this as we do NOT kill innocent players), etc. For better help, make sure to give a precise explanation. 2. Make sure to add the needed information to get in contact with you - This makes it much easier for an 'Officer' to find and help you. If you have encountered a Bandit, please include: The server name, The time of your encounter with the bandit and when you died. you could also include what this specific bandit was equipped with e.g. Does he have a ghillie suit, what weapons and it would be a great help to our department if you could inform us their in-game names. 3. Wait for an 'Officer' to make contact with you. 4. After an 'Officer' has helped, make sure to edit your post saying who the 'Officer' was and how you experience was. [For 'Officers'] What do I do? 1. If you take on a 'mission', make sure to quote and this way let everyone in this thread know! 2. Make contact with the survivor, either through PM or however they want to. Make sure to be polite and have patience, not everyone are Elite players. 3. After helping a survivor, politely ask them to post about their experience with you and your assitance which you have provided in this thread. 4. (Optional) Taking a picture of you and the survivor as proof would be great! (Steam users "F12") (Non Steam users "Print Screen") 5. Make sure to post about the 'mission' yourself. I have encountered a HOSTILE Survivor or 'Officer' - What should I do? PM me or Virus and explain the entire situation in detail and we will start an investigation. I'm glad to see your interest. Unfortunately we have been on hold lately as I have been really sick lately and still don't feel too good yet (I'm getting there!) and Virus has started education again, but I expect to be ready within a week or two. I can tell you that we have been talking about getting one or more teams together so that we can operate in groups on different servers (this will be for whitelisted players only) and the team will be public on this thread :-). I'm sorry for the time delay but I can promise you that when we return, we return with full power.

If you are in need of escort or just someone to help you get started, feel free to ask for help in this thread. Someone will afterwards contact you and make sure that you will be well treated and get a good start :). CPD makes sure that YOU are safe if needed!

I would like you to read your previous post. Because that wasn't what you wrote at all :-). - Let me quote it exactly. In what way has that anything to do with what you were saying now? I'm not trying to hate or anything. I'm just trying to figure out why you are saying two different things?

Sounds fun :-). I'd say... Leave the gear at the firetower. So let's say that I want a M4A1 CCO SD, you would leave it at the Fire tower with 4 mags. IF i got to the NW airfield I could take the gear and just leave. This way you could (if in doubt) fly back and check the tower to see if the gear was/is still there. If it isn't, well then I finished and took my reward. If it is there and nobody cought me, I'd still be alive and going there :-). Makes any sense? Oh any btw, how's the rules? - Kill on sight?

It would be cool if they added actual groups. So you can form a group and within this group you could use strobes. So if you see a flashing strobe, it's a friendly. Just like in the real world :-).

It is still the TMW whitelist. It is handled by the leaders of TMW (as far as I know). So I don't see how this is a bad way to judge. But thanks for the headsup anyways, eventhough I already did know that the TMW whitelist doesn't make you a part of their group. And btw. I would say that anyone on the TMW whitelist is affiliated with TMW, they are just not a part of the TMW group (Please correct me if I'm completely wrong) :).

Fantastic post - very short, but detailed! Unfortunately I was a sleep at that time (which is something new), but I will save the servername and check in later tonight with a few friends of mine and see if we can find some Bandits :) Jester. Also feel free to add me or any other 'Officer' to Steam, Skype, PM or whatever they promote in their signature for faster contact. This way you get instant help in a situation as above mentioned :).

As far as I know they haven't taken any list down. Follow the link in the intro post and you will see the list of 81 whitelisted players. As soon as I see you on that list I will add you to ours :)

You are not listed on the TMW whitelist yet, but feel free to help anyone in need of assistance and make them post about their experience in this thread. As soon as I see you on the TMW whitelist I will add you to ours as well :).

As a post to the above mentioned you can contact the Medical team "TMW - Trusted Medics of the Wasteland" if you need a Medic to assist you with Morphine, bandage or whatever. And as mentioned in above post - We need more info to start an investigation and start a search for the Bandit :).

Sorry, but I have to say... You shouldn't have downloaded Skype - It sucks badass! B) TeamSpeak is the way to go - High quality, Push To Talk or Voice Activation (or even both), lightweight software which runs smoothly and doesn't take up any CPU usage compared to Skype ;)

Very nice to see your story :). I will refer you to the last bit of the intro post. This is not a group/clan. Anyone can be a part of CPD and act like escort etc. But to get whitelisted requires that people can vouch for you. (Again, read the intro post for more info). None the less I will glady help you out next time you are in need of an escort. And some tip of advice. Don't ever go to the big cities unless absolutely urgent. Hit me up on Steam the next time you are in need of an escort and I'll get my team together and make sure you get where ever you need to safely. Remember, you are always welcome to help another survivor in need. If you see another survivor asking for help on this thread, feel free to aid this individual and help them get rid of bandits or help them to a safe location if they have engaged a bandit or even just a survivor who need escort to i.e a hospital.

We want to be as professional as possible, looking at this is volunteers and it's a game ;). But we want to make the DayZ experience better and also see if we can raise the 'Average life expectancy" to more than just 1 hour. And as Virus (Dantheman95) already said - No we're not the same people.

Remember, this might as well be a loner thing. We cannot in any way promise that every mission will be as a group. This works the same way as TMW. This means: A survivor posts on this thread for help. Anyone who wants to help makes contact with the survivor and that way figure out how to get the situation solved the best possible way. IF assistance is needed, you are more than welcome to contact another 'Officer' and ask for help. I hope the above mentioned makes any sense. If not, I will try to explain further :)

As mentioned in another post this is NOT a clan. This is a 'society' of people who feel happy about helping other survivors. And personally I am quite well equipped. It is kind of required for these tasks, but yes. Me and some of my friends are very well equipped :)
