I used to be a friendly Survivor(No i'm not gonna contiune this skyrim joke) I found a Humvee gathered some food and supplies and wen't to Elektro and helped out freshly spawned people or gave them a lift to the next big city but there always be some douches that can only camp in bushes and shoot the crap out of you with an AS50 and that's how my good guy carrier ended, they stole my Humvee and killed me with a revolver to my head, i tried to recover waht's left but they took everything. I know it's PvP and i'm not mad about it, i would even surrender but killing someone is so much easier. I helped out a lot of people and even got my first hero skin, sadly it can end so fast you received it.

Well, i set up my camp behind the mountain called Ostry near Krasnostav, it's a pretty full server 40 people and up at specific times but mostly everyone only goes to the NEAF and then turns around and goes back to Berezhino or they just drive by, raid KRasnostav and head off to the diretction of pobeda dam, even helicopters were flying over my camp but didn't find it, maybe because i got a camo UAZ that is pretty hard to see, when parked near a pine tree and a lot of animals around here. I'm surprised no one found it so far.

I do hope they add the Mosin Nagant, i mean it's chernarus isn't it and it's supposed to be stationed in Russia. So if the Lee would be a bit more rare and the moisin more common in the SA, that would be awesome. And the Mosin nagant had version with a scope.

Well, it would be good to know on what you are playing on now, is it a desktop or a Laptop and in what price range you wanna operate. Some basic PC specs, like CPU, Graphic Card and Ram.

Good Day community. I really don't know where to go with this problem but i hope i didn't posted it in the wrong part. To the problem: Me and 2 buddies of mine wen't to loot the NWAF first we drove there but there were only thin cans and junk and some hatchet's so we decided to leave and go back to our camp and try tommorow. This time we walked all the way and to our surprise junk and hatchets again. I don't know if this is a server-side issue or an issue from the players-side, since 1.7.5.1 came around we experience these problem and have to walk around for 5 minutes up to 30 mins to get atleast decent loot. Zeds are always here but no loot only junk, we tried the trick to pick up the junk and throw it outside but more tin cans appear and that's in the tower of the NWAF and in the upper level nothing spawns only in the staircase, after 15 min. of killing zombies and running around we got some medicine an a SA-85 and about 10 damn smoke grenades. We called it a day and left. I read the patchnotes and acknowledged the update that nothing spawns when you drive by a vehicle but we were on foot and it's a bit annoying to wait so long to get atleast something to make the journey worth it. I guess the private server needs really to be updated to 1.7.6.1 and my buddy already is talking to the operator, so i hope it will get better. I don't know if anyone else noticed or experienced those "desynched" loot spawns?

Do you have the Steam Version of Arma2 OA (Combined Operations)? I had to verify integrity of game cache and then it worked fine again but sometimes had to make a total reinstall but that was a long time ago.

Bandits? Oh, you mean this specimen of players, that shoot you on sight even you being unarmed and then don't even loot you and making it just to get a cheap kill.

With my post, i don't wanna say that PvP is bad, i just pisses you off a bit and you don't give a damn about it, as i said we will seek revenge on these douches. PVE only would be a bit boring too but is it really necessary to kill an other player who doesn't even got or only a small chance to defend himself? I don't really know how PvP players think, i mean shooting on a target that just runs around to aquire a kill and not even get the adrenaline in the rush of defending yourself. I was just telling my story but i didn't projected my hatred against PvP, i'm not even against it. Some PvP's are playing it sometimes like a CoD-Game, just to get a kill. As example, you spawn at the coast near Elektro and wan't to get some gear in a super-market or office or hospital. You have no weapons, only a can of beans, flashlight and a soda can and on the hill in elektro is a sniper just waiting for you entering a store and shoot you from a high distance, you just die and can't even tell where the shot came from and the sniper masturbates to his kill and laughs loudly in the side channel, wouldn't you then seek revenge? I'm not against PvP, if it's not used as Duck Hunt, just as a normal encounter of an enemy group and ending in a firefight, then PvP is awesome.

I feels ya. I got a buddy of mine and his co-workers started a DayZ server with private hive, dunno if whitelisted or not it's password protected. Anyway me and my friends, we were a group of three(including me) and two other douches on the server a co-worker from him. So we went to raid some cities and gather atleast one operational vehicle but as funny dayz can be we had three at the end of the day, without even looking for them. We set up our camp in the east of Berezhino in a forest. We went raiding Berezhino on foot and suddenlythe two other douches happend to be there and BANG, i'm dead. My friend panicked and tried to help me, since he didn't heard the DMR, i told him to run but it was too late and he died too. When we came back to our camp, all our Vehicles were empty and tires destroyed, the truck was gone. I was a bit mad but the icing on the top of the shitstorm cake was the comment of the enemy "Tooooooooo bad". I'm dead, i dealt with it but such morons just piss me off. Camping all the time with a damn DMR is so mature. We decided to gtfo from there and set up a new camp and while looting with hatchet's(Since we can't find any SD weapon) to defend ourselves, these two other guys flying around with a Huey, now three of them, we killed one but the other DMR douche got us all again. Atleast we had the balls to put up against them with pistols and not camping near the forest like a wussy. I wonder if they just kill other players to get loot, because they're man-hood isn't big enough to fight against zombies. Next time we get them. We will find a damn DMR or any other kind of sniping rifle and some assault rifles. Btw what's up with the loot spawns? Either we drive there or walk a kilometer, nothing spawns, only empty tins and zombies. We need to wait about five min. to get something acceptable in a supermarket or barracks.

Easy come, easy go. That's why DayZ is so fascinating, you never know what will happen in the next seconds, minutes or hours.

Im not a really new player to dayz and saw every vehicle once on a server expect this one: http://www.dayzwiki....ki/Pickup_Truck I was wandering around a lot but never saw any kind like this standing around or driven by some other player, so out of curiosity i wanted to ask if anyone got some Screenshot's from it or even a video footage or even the location where it can be found. I'm not a vehicle horder, i just wonder if this one even is in DayZ or DayZ+. Thanks for any help and i do used the search function and all i find is the toyota Hilux (white pickup with red stripe on the sides)

Shooting freshly spawned players on the coast with a high-tech sniping rifle is the lowest level you can sink as a coward and below.

I do support this suggestion/Idea. Then such a scummy bandit who betrayed his group can't just simply change his name and get away with it. Have my Can of Beans, OP.

Wait. You didn't knew about it? I was looking for this car since i started playing DayZ about 8 months ago and never saw one... But i wish you goold luck with finding one. Will you post then the place you found it?

How about a poll answer that say's: "No, because DayZ should stay exclusivly for PC" Consoles already got almost every game and the PC players get a shitty port with horrible controls for it, mostly... Red Dead Redemption was never released on PC, Motorstorm and Heavy Rain too.

Well, im up for rather vintage vehicles and so i rather pick a GAZ or UAZ than a fancy Hilux or this black SUV.

I think it's hilarious enough to find loads of empty whisky bottles in a Eastern Bloc map. I'm not against smoker, i tried it by myself but quit after 2 weeks, i think it's not such a bad idea but parents will think that it will consider smoking and drinking for the positive effect's and the younger audience will "maybe start smoking/drinking too in the believe to get positive effect's out of it and i don't think that this is the goal of the SA.

Wow. That's pretty generous of the goverment to let such a big event happen in public, tho i never heard of it but it sounds pretty cool.
