Well, I always turned every setting I could to as low as it could go, and I was always picking different servers. I tried at least 30 different ones, probably much more. I was always around 8-10 FPS, which is ridiculous. In fact, even when I changed the settings back to high, or medium, my FPS remained constantly at around 10.

I've always been getting low FPS on this game, and this game alone. Setup: GPU: Radeon HD 6750 (Not the best, I know, but it runs games with better graphics than this and on higher settings - no problem) CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 965 Black Edition - Overclocked to 3.8 gHz RAM: 16 gigs It's ridiculous how un-stable this game's been. People have been having this problem for months, or however long it's been since it came out, and still no one found the problem?

I've been having this issue since DayZ came out..still haven't found a fix. I can run virtually any other games at an fps rate 2-3x higher than what I'm getting, roughly. I only get like 15 fps on a good day on DayZ.

At least you can get 30 FPS. I have a gaming rig that I could normally play any game flawlessly yet I struggle to get above 15 FPS

The ONLY Realistic Way to Prevent Deathmatching: Make DayZ a Living Hell

Too bad it's already hard enough trying to even find anyone at all unless you personally know someone who you could team and meet up with. Which, most (newer) players do not. -
You should just be able to max the settings.

Your graphics card really worries me. If I were you, I'd upgrade it. You could get a fairly decent one for around 70-80 dollars. If you're willing to chip out just a bit more, you can get an even better one. But any upgrade for your video card would be great.

So, I've tried virtually everything I can think of, from specific launch lines, dusting out my (literally almost brand new) computer (only like 2 weeks old). Tweaking all the in game specs to a variety of options, low to high, in between, turning generically tasking features off, having the resolution set correctly. Nothing really seems to help my FPS issue whatsoever. I haven't been able to go above 20 FPS yet, my average is around 10-15. CPU: Phenom II x4 965 BE GPU: Radeon HD 6750 4 gigs of RAM Video settings while running DayZ: I set everything to very low and resolutions of 1280 x 1024. Post processing and all that crap off. Has anyone really come up with a decent solution that may be able to help fix the lag? And as far as I saw, it doesn't exactly seem to be as server-bound as people say. I tried a plethora of different servers, ranging from the lowest pings possible to highest, and my FPS stayed exactly the same, regardless of my ping or video settings. Pretty frustrating when this is a perma-death game and I'm getting this ass of a problem. Edit: I don't think it's a heat issue or anything like that either, I've got about 7 fans in my computer, a giant heatsink on my CPU with a push/pull system and the temperature of it hardly rises.
-
If anything actually relating to my computer I'd assume it's the RAM then, my CPU is pretty decent, 3.4hz quad core, plus I overclocked it a bit and it's temperature is still really low. Guess I'll try ram since that's cheap enough anyhow.

I've tried that too. Like I mentioned, I tried low, medium, high and mixed and matched everything in between, and even with everything maxed I still get the average 15 fps - Same as I get on very low.
-
Like what other kinds of computer specs?

Performance on PC's that are good but FPS is bad.

Didn't help even as much as to increase my FPS by 1. And like most other people, I could run Arma 2 on max settings no problem, as well as other games. Yet I steady at 10-15 FPS on every single server I've tried. And I've tried other methods of tweaking, too. -
So, I just built this brand new PC after hand-picking every part. Proccessor: Phenom II x4 965 BE, slightly overclocked Video Card: Radeon HD 6750 (Not the best, I know, but that shouldn't matter here) Ram: 6 Gigs So, my thing about this is I'm only getting an average of 10-15 FPS on the very very bare minimum settings - everything on very low and such. Though, I can run virtually any other game, including Arma 2 on max settings, as well as a game like Skyrim averaging at about 30-40 FPS. I'm wondering what's wrong that would be causing it to have such a frame rate drop from about 40 to 10~15, no matter what my settings are; whether they're almost maxed or bare minimum. Anyone have any advice on this? Edit: This is on servers with the lowest amount of ping I can find, usually about 30-40.

Iunno..kinda tough to have fun with it only having a 10 fps rate

It almost seems to be on every server, though.
