    Cant Pickup Hatchet

    I've searched the forums and haven't found anything on a fix for this so apologies if this topic has already been discussed. I'm running Dayz build 1.7.2.3 & ARMA2 OA build 94876. Everything seems to be working fine except when I try to pick up a hatchet the game wont let me. I have no other primary weapons in my inventory. I've tried scrolling my mouse wheel over the item to "Take" it but there never is a context menu that appears over the object or in the hud no matter where I stand or how close I am to the hatchet. I've also tried to approach the hatchet from different distances, crouched, etc and that hasnt worked either. I've reinstalled the game and have also tried different servers. Any ideas? Thanks!

    Thanks for the reply. The hatchet is lying on the floor in a building and cant be picked up. Any other ideas?
