Also dayz mostly uses your CPU and GPU so don't worry too much about 16gb RAM. Also might want to look at the kfa2 gtx670, awesome card (cheaper and runs faster than a stock 680)

The i5 is great, don't worry. Most wouldn't notice the difference. :)

Seems serious to me, why would you think he was trying to impress you with those specs? (i5, no sli etc) There is rude people on this forum, can anyoine ask a genuine question?.. and to the OP: yes and no, it will run fine but you might suffer frame rate issues like the rest of us (30-100 depending on a lot of factors).

I have been playing for about two months too, I don't mean to sound elitest but I have only ever been killed by players 3+ days into a game. You don't run into cherno/elektro on respawn do you? Kill you once, shame on me. Kill you twice , shame on you.

I would of got into the bus, why not? If you had no chance of survival you might as well have some fun driving around the map with six crazy men.

I think you are absolutely right, ammo should be limited with these very powerful, highly scoped weapons. Also it is a massive burden to carry one of these babies around they should either be 15-20 slots in your pack or unable to place in a backpack at all.

I don't know why but that really made me laugh :P
