The stash sites are cool, as long as the map doesnt become littered with them, like tents. Ive also seen a plan of camp building but whether that has been used for the implemented camps I don't know. I'll try find a link.

When players have a lot of gear stashed their guard invariably drops which increases the risk of getting killed... when they do they return to the tent to gear up. This shouldn't happen. Guard shouldn't be dropped for this reason, just like knowing how many players are online when your in a server. So what about making it so that a player who has died cannot access his old tent, or dead body. -

The reason people get high end equipment in 5mins is for this very reason. They die and run back to their tent. Totally defeats one of the key features of the game, gearing up from scratch. And why should they get your gear and you can't, because you died. Why should you be able to loot your old dead corpse. We ask for as much realism as possible. -

Why not just deny access to it from the person who made it once theyve died. - the tent stays for others to loot, will disappear if unused, and you cant go to re loot it. On that note, you should also not be able to go and loot your own body. -

Few suggestions: *make vehicle parts take up more inventory spaces. Currently 6slots for a wheel means you can fit 4 wheels or engines in a big backpack. :lol: *On that note - you can fit 50 wheels in a tent... thats not right? *make vehicle parts go from floor to backpack like the changed hatchet and tools *no stanag rounds,dmr rounds, and other military ammo to be found in industrials or residentials. *higher infection chance from dirty water What's the sit rep with the camps that were WIP? - they were amazing! -

The fact of the matter is, why should one be able to run back to his tent after being killed to just get the same amount of gear, taking up to 30mins depending where your tent is. You should have to start again as a new character with nothing. -

Regardless of how many people are on it, apparently it can't be released til Rocket returns. Razor, can you make vehicle parts on the floor able to go straight into backpack? Rather than having to clear out inventory space etc. Also why not increase the 'size' of parts, so that you can't fit 4 wheels into a cayote! Make them like 12 slots or something. -

I think another issue is simply the amount of gear you can fit in a tent. I think its far too much. Much like the backpacks. Cayote backpack = 4 car wheels. -

I feel the map may be covered in these stashes. Hopefully theres some way of getting rid of them. - But it's still a great idea. What's happening on the camps front Razor? Also, tents should last for your characters life, not forever. -
Bandit/hero Skins and camouflage clothing

What if, a survivor puts on camo gear, its the current camo. A bandit puts camo on, it becomes the proposed bandit camo. Hero gets a new one. But all from the same type of package - it just determines what you change into depending on your humanity/current status. If a survivor in green camo becomes bandit, it changes into bandit camo gear. And make ghillies the rarest thing going. Allows for the much called for differentiation. -

I hope something can be done to try to fix this. I don't know what, i'm not that creative when it comes to trying to solve these sorts of problems. The short and sweet of it is, it's worse that running away, it's the lowest form of cowardice. It denies victory and is rife through the game. The people that do it have it almost ingrained into their minds, their fingertips at the ready to force close the game, instead of being courageous and going down with balls. No one can argue that. Give backpacks straps and weapons slings. When you open backpack it would be cool if you knelt down and swung it down infront of you and looked inside. -
I still think instanced bases is the worst thing you could do to Dayz.

Why not be able to construct a type of bushcraft shelter, with branches, leaves etc. Different types as well. It would fit with the survival aspect. Maybe in addition to a better looking tent, or tents, as well. Don't like the idea of being 'teleported' to some magical underground hollow. Not DayZ. -

Why not spawn with NOTHING? Why not spawn in unconscious on the beach on a quick timer with an empty temperature gauge and infected? Too many people will cry but these are the ones that run straight for north west and stary, or camp in cherno and electro.
