What Death Dealer said^. You need a better GPU if you intend to game. And I'm not an elitist gear masturbator that thinks any card under $500 is Junk. I would suggest starting at something like a Radeon HD 7770 (or HD 6850 / 6870) or GTX 560Ti or better.

I think this thread has reached a consensus on Orcs. Patch it in for 1.7.7 Ring of Power for 1.8? Maybe. Invisibility script should be easy to implement. Ask the quarter of the players who already use it.

if you say it get to about 68 under a full load, you're just fine. An easy way to keep things cool is to get two decent case fans. $20-$25 for both should get you some decent fans. One to intake air, one to blow it out.

What kind of custom maps would you like to see in SA?

Taviana seems to really tick a lot of boxes for players. IT's a nice mix of urban and rural spaces, hills, forests and water. Overall I'm more for dotted villages throughout the map rather than a huge city. A city the size of Sabina (on the Taviana map) would be plenty if there were variety in the buildings and all could be entered. A cold, dreary place like Namalsk is also nice. I abandoned that map once the sci-fi stalker things and blowouts were introduced. -
Will DayZ be overshadowed by next-gen consoles at E3?

I don't see too much excitement for the next-gen consoles yet. I think it'll ramp up a bit once developers truly figure out how to push the machines to their limits, and competition lowers prices to a more comfortable level. So another 1.5 years before things really start to peak. -
you should be able to configure your joystick in the aircraft controls tab, in the controls menu. Click on the axis of control you'd like to change (say, roll left) and once you're in that control option, move your joystick left. That will automatically be detected by Arma. Now make sure your "roll right" control (or whatever it's called...something similar) is also configured like that. If there's a conflict in any of your controls, ARMA will mark it in bright red. I fly just fine with a joystick. It's much smoother than keyboard and the "hat" switch allows me to look around easily without taking my hands off the control.

Completely agree. Aren't high-level houses/garages enough to horde your shit in? If anything, I'd introduce more things that can kill you. NPC patrols on the main islands,maybe diseases that can be passed among survivors....to give a slight advantage to the lone-wolf who doesn't mingle much. Not a fan of strongholds

What's truly rewarding is when Zeds do your dirty work for you, taking out your assailants. I was driving my tractor along in Taviana last night, minding my own bidniss, when shots ring out. They are clearly directed at me. 15-20 rounds from maybe a CZ. I get away with no damage to my vehicle or myself apart from needing a bandage. I return to where the shots came from 20 minutes later, to find a cross grave marker (this is Origins). the poor bastard was stuck between a wreck and a destroyed bus when he had a perfect line of sight to me earlier. His reckless shooting got him swarmed with no way out. And I went back to tending my crops.

Did you m1014 fire automatic AS50 rounds? did your bike fly? I suspect shenanigans. BE does not ban wihtout a cause. You likely hacked.

Unless he means he has anti-hax for people who have "no battleye" as in, someone who has disabled battle service...if that'spossible? Dunno.needs clarification. Battleye is not perfect but it has banned thousands of Dbags. So at least it'll filter out some of the hackers. -

Here's how it will go:. The Art Director or graphic designer(s) will provide input at the finishing stages of the game to provide uniformity of design throughout the product. Packaging, marketing material, and in-game elements will be refined. What you're seeing is a working placeholder. It's inefficient to waste time doing final designs on elements that are subject to change.

Do not place your house on an island unless you want to swim to each when you respawn. Consider distance to spawn points, access to vehicles and industrial areas before you build. I have some top notch places and I'll send you one via private.message
