A delay in zombie respawns is a good idea. I don't mind getting swarmed by a horde,as long as it's not unlimited.

I've heard of quite a few people lately that are getting banned from whitelisted, and private hive servers unjustly. I never paid much heed until I happened to get banned for stealing a heli I found at the Admin's camp - no discussion, no questions - just WHAM with the banhammer. I put in a fair bit of time on this character. And it got me thinking. The stand alone will feature much more end-game content. If I spend even more time developing a character, will I still be at the mercy of whatever goon is running my server to end my gaming experience? I've never cheated/scripted or whatever (I think I entered secret codes in Mortal Kombat back in the 90s but that's about it) We need some server admin accountability in SA.

how about a built-in video recorder in the SA. both for streamers, and a looped (3-5 minutes max) recorder for catching scripters/abusers.

Not too sure. On some European keyboards, The backslash is on the left hand side, beside the shift. But can't speak for what key would activate that command on your machine specifically. Sorry. There are lots of European players on this forum so someone can probably help you.

Your processor is fine. You need to get a dedicated graphics card. The 7640g you list is an integrated Trinity APU (processor card). Pop in a decent video card (starting around $120-ish),add another case fan ($15) to keep things cool and you'll be ok

Crossbow kills can be very rewarding. I took a long distance (50m) shot at a guy on my first time on Taviana. I turned just in time to see a guy with an M4A1 come around a wall and squat in a bush, then aim at me. Took a "what the hell" shot and instantly killed him. My celebration was short-lived. He had 3 squad mates coming up behind him. Still, they were pissed at the kill. And that made all the difference.

I agree with this. My comment meant that Rocket understand how people want to play - as opposed to doing what they ask. There's a big difference. I don't want him to do whatever idiots might ask for. Stick to his own style, because his sense of the game is ultimately what everyone appreciates...or has so far.

I just got shot down in my chopper by an Apache (private hive Chernarus server). I don't think any choppers are realistic. Keeping them maintained and operational requires a very well-trained and equipped crew. By the way..how would one go about taking down the Apache. Any tips appreciated. I must rid the world of this menace.

You will not be able to milk a cow. They stop producing milk unless they have a calf, or if they're not being milked regularly, as they would be at a dairy farm. You could still milk a bull and get yurself some protein rich bull-fat.

I've had similar issues that eventually led to a hard-drive failure. Everyone should do this: Buy a second, cheap hard-drive for $50 and keep your machine cloned at all time. Just thought I'd mention it in case your drive could be causing hiccups. I could be wrong.

This gun makes total sense. Very common gun, made for over 100 years. very versatile, quick-handling,durable workhorse rifle. In-game it would have a shorter range than Enfield..halfway between a shotty and a CZ. Keep in mind older models were top-ejectors, making scope mounting difficult/impossible. Newer models spit casings out the side. ...I'm going out to buy one now.

I like his style of design, I think he's got a great sense of how people really want to play the game, and he filters out the crap ideas. Unlike most big film studio execs these days. That's how I know SA wil be damn good.

Maybe they can change the ammo info on the CZ to say .270 win. or something. That would bring it more in line with it's actual performace. That rifle is available in a variety of calibres. Never undertood the winchester 1886. If adding a lever gun, I would have changed it to a common gun lilke the Winchester 1894 in.30-30,or maybe, a Marlin in .45-70 gov. That would fill the gap nicely between handguns and military rifles

Yes this is a rifle in RL, usually chambered for .44-40. The shotgun ammo icon is just a placeholder. In a survival situation, this would be a great, quick-handling gun. I'd still LOVE to see a .22 LR rifle in game. Great for Zeds. Ammo and gun are common in RL.

Last night some guy with bad english was begging for help in elektro..saying he's unarmed,with a broken leg, and couldn't crawl to the hospital. 10 minutes later, he's nailing guys with an M107 from the hills. Pretty standard dayz fare, and a drawback of sidechat.
