Today was just awesome: First me an a friend of mine went to the airfield got some loot and packed it all in a tent. After that we wanted to go to lake near us to refill our water bottles and then the craziest journey ever started: We did not find the lake but suddenly my friend shouted "dude here is a car!". It was a white truck! We tried to start it but it was out of fuel and i checked the gear in this car and there was EVERYTHING! I dont know more than 10 rifles e.g three l85a2 and 4 m16a4 acog it was just hilarious :D! And there was also fuel! So we started the engine and drove away. After 200 metres we noticed a boat in the sea, so we nearly escalated :D The boat had no fuel so we needed to leave it there, but after that we found a big camp with about 4 tents full of gear :D Now we`ve got 4 ghillie suits and more weapons! After putting the gear in our car, we drove a little bit further and there was another camp !!! So now i have a car, 12 weapons, 4 ghillie suits and a great experience :) Hope you enjoied reading ;) Have a nice day!

Ya, they got a biggger aggro area and they can hear better. I think increasing these 2 things makes the game way more challenging :)

In Video options its necessary to switch the "resolution" and the "3d Resolution" to the same value: for example 1920*1080(100%) and 1920*1080(100%) Hope it helped :) !

I just solved this problem :) ! Let me show you how it works: First of all i deleted ArmA 2 and ArmA 2 OA through steam. Then i deleted manually the two ArmA folders in the steamapps folder. After that i FIRST downloaded Arma 2, ran it ,joined a (normal) game and so i updatet BattlEye (dont forget to install it through steam before!) Then i downloaded Arma 2 OA (and did the same things like above, you need also to install BattlEye manually for arma 2 oa just make a folder called "BattlEye" under SteamApps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion. You need to extract the newest Battleyepatch in there : http://www.battleye.com/download.html (its in the middle of the screen! ) After that i installed the beta patch, which you can download from the green field form http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php/ You need to make a folder in steamapps\arma2 and in steamapps\arma2oa named @DayZ and there you need to make another folder called Addons! In there you just extract the following files: http://www.armafiles.info/dayz/ (you need to choose a mirror first ;) ) Now you go to steamapps/arma2oa where you can find a "Launch Arma2 OA Beta Patch.exe". You need to rightclick it and then insert the follwoing under properties "-mod=@dayz" (without "") Now it does work for me but i need to run it through the "Launch Arma2 OA Beta Patch.exe" (not with steam!) Hope it helped :) ! PS: Another Tipp: When you have for example beta-patch pack 94997. Just make a filter in the serverbrowser where you add "94997" @ Host ;D ! You get stuck at wait for host because the server uses another beta pack than you, you just need to go to the filter option in the server browser and there write "94997" (the name of the beta patch you use) in "Host"! Now i should work! Hope it helped ;) ! Good luck, Have fun :D !
