I am facepalming the fuck out of myself right now. The amount of people I see typing on side chat "omg why is this game broken I STILL can't load into any servers". You -NEED- to run the beta patch. Server and clientside. The server that "has it enabled" will have it blacklisted if you don't run the beta patch =\ -
It would be nice if it had a facebook approach. You can "Mark" friendlies, and they'll pop up on your screen when they are nearby. Like a facebook friend, both people have to "accept" the "friend request" before you can see each other.

Or, make similar system to ACRE. Side chat is bad, and you should feel bad for trying to bring it back. Just because you can't ask if there's friendlies in cherno doesn't mean you should make bad suggestions. -

Player maintained settlements: It's an interesting idea, but not right now. Server-hopping location changing is a problem, and this cannot be done to full effect as of now. Inclement weather: I would enjoy this as long as it didn't last a long time. Perhaps a few minutes, when there is a storm out, it gets really windy and you can hardly see. Reanimation: I would enjoy this. Cannibalism: This, this is awesome. However food is too plentiful for this to be an option ;P -
I'd love for NVG's to be removed. Either that, or rarest item in-game (like mountain dew) + requiring battery power.

Oh I'm sorry, for a second I thought we were talking about Dead Rising. Melee items are so limited in usage that they are almost useless to use. The only purpose of melee weapons right now is the novelty value. Using guitars, fry pans, cricket bats, etc is completely ridiculous. I'd say, keep it simple. Swords, planks, golf clubs etc would be as useless as empty tin cans.

All "trader" threads that get put on General Discussion forums get owned by bandit clans. There is no "safe" way to trade with other players. The risk isn't worth "trading". And there are no items that are in the game that are hard to find. -

If you run around and kill people, you should not be punished for it, like in real life. However, getting mentally fucked up-like effects, such as hallucinations, would be interesting. And remember, PVP is not "killing the game". PvP is part of Survival. You survive by AVOIDING CONTACT with people. It is your fault if you decide to trust people. It makes the game MUCH more difficult to try and befriend everyone, simply because people join as "Bandit" groups, and kill people for their things. Anything could happen in an apocalypse, other people killing other people is part of that. Not trusting anyone is also part of it. If you cry about PvP, please do so in the PvP discussion thread. Otherwise, your "cursed" suggestion is really laughable. It's too much, IMO. Hallucinating would be interesting, however. -

After re-reading your post, I believe that more co-op options should be added in. A simple "wave", or "Lower your weapon" hand signal would be helpful. Being able to carry people (Like, fireman's carry) would be excellent. Sharing body heat, that kind of shit. Is awesome. Those are interesting ideas. -

- Their are only two reasons why you, as a server owner, should ban a player on your server. Those two reasons are: Malicious talk, and racism. You may not ban a user for stealing your loot, killing you, spying on you, etc. - You may only kick for disruptive behavior (such as continued VOIP over side channel). But you may not kick due to race or language or because the person does something you do not like. - Kicking for extremely excessive ping or desync is permitted, but if abused is grounds for blacklisting Failure to adhere to these rules will BAN YOUR SERVER'S IP from DayZ. -

That's a UH-1Y Huey Venom Gunship. Has rocket pods and minigun's on the side. It's the living version of the crashed helicopters that spawn in, and are definitely hacked-in. -

Sigh. Ammo can not be repacked for different guns. Ammo and Magazines are not a different thing. There is only Magazines. That being said, in DayZ only, the team is working on changing similiar ammo types to different magazines. Right now, the only ammo that can be converted is: 4 x 2 Round 12 Gauge = 1 x 8 Round 12 Gauge 1 x 6 Round .45ACP(revolver) = 1 x 7 Round .45 (1911) 4 x 5 Round M24 = 1 x 20 Round DMR -
What weapon was underwhelming to you?

As a high level player, MK48 is pretty disappointing. On paper, it looks like a mean zombie slaying machine. 100 round mags, 7.62x51. The damage is awesome. The recoil is strange, requires you to use it to understand what I'm talking about. I find I'm more lethal with the M249. That being said, even M249 isn't that good PVP. Great for killing zombies, because 200 round mag, and 2 bullets at most will down a zombie. I find best PvP weapons are M4/M16 (M16A4 Acog is a beautiful weapon), AKM, DMR, FAL, M14, and CZ 550/M24. Long range sniping without AS50/M107, CZ 550 is a beautiful weapon. Long range and super high damage is beautiful. Definitely under-rated imo. M24 can replace it. -
The Bizon SD is 9x18, not 9x19. If you look at the weapon, it says it uses 9x18 Ammo >>

When will we be able to see tents and vehicles spawning, and staying spawned?

As the title says, when will we be able to see tents and vehicles spawning back in? Will our old tents/vehicles be saved? Will they spawn back in as well? It almost feels like there's no point to play when Persistence isn't working properly, not being able to save your things in a secure (ish) place kinda ruins the experience. -
