THe Entrenching tool, its used to fill sandbags to make barricades, but your idea sounds awesome, except i doubt it will be implemented. Seeing how rare tents are compared to the tool (i have seen atleast 5 entrenchment tools in one week and just one tent.) so if the tools could do this then you would get unlimited camp spots once you get one tool. you also need to find the empty sandbags too, i have seen those once aswell.

im afraid this one is not very telling atall. First off not everyone uses forums. secondly this is a mod for a game that is not very popular. so you have to figure the ratio of game owners to forum users and then compensate that to game owners that dl and play ALPHA mods. And then compensate for those that only use other forums to talk about DayZ, like steam forums BIS forums etc. etc. the alive seems to be a closer bet. especially sionce i saw rocket mention 75k not too long ago.

Oh then we loose a car while in transit again during restart. we back tracked all the way on foot, could not find it anywhere. We finally get back to our camp to find a tent and our offroad also disapeard, server restarts again about an hour later while we are in transit in our last car and loose that fucker too! cant find it anhywhere we drove with it. we go back to camp and wtf tent and offroad are back where they were b4 :s

My first kill was someone named USER and he was a bandit on the top of ther office building in electro , this was last week saturday or sunday. He was there scoping with his CZ i saw him went to the building climbed th eladder and killed him with makarov. Today some 5 hours ago i comitted my first murder. i had 3.9k+ humanity never killed a survivor b4 but im on day 5 and got too much gear too loose so im on a state where im not taking chances with anyone. So this is what happened i was a t Pusta waiting to be picked up by my friends that had a Offroad the military vehicle and while waiting i was loot piling the garage there in pusto to see if i could get a jerry can and periodically scan around and in one of those times i see a survivor coming up towards me some 100 or so meters away I aim at him , he aims back with his Makarov, i got M4 SD i can take him out if i want with no agro , he had atleast 4 zombies witing earshot/agro distance. He proceeds to do the salute so i dont shoot him , somehow he KEEPS coming towards me , i type in chat "TURN BACK!" but the pos keeps coming ever closer and i warned him twice and he s like 50-60 meters away he must see that i have an assault rifle aimed at him , i no longer hesitate i got too much to loose and my friends are on their way here i pull the trigger. player TRON goes down, dead. i now have a murder on my stats, because some guy would not listen.

its all in all a nice thing since the end game is quite shallow. but that is infact the problem. This idea will take quite some time to setup and implement and that time is better invested in fixing bugs and ovaral server/game balance. Rocket already mentioned that missions/objectives will be added in the future (something allot of ppl seem to be missing when they go on talking bs like players having no value in-game, maybe when missions come and HAVE TO COOPERATE they realize oh wait players DO HAVE VALUE) but i degress.. my point is your idea is nice but the dev time it takes to implemet i rather is spent fixing what is already in place to make for a sounder base.

If this turns out to be true (and female skins added to the game to make it possible) then it would change back to kill anything on sight 2 or maybe 1 day after. Why? cuz if it turns out to be true bandits will be the first to go female skin to get that extra second of hesitation and thus get the upper hand in standoffs.
