I'm getting the error now too. After playing for a good 4 hours two nights again I couldn't even log on to any servers last night. It's pretty frustrating. I guess I'll just have to try and play night...or Friday...hopefully be able to play this weekend.

Not just zombies. Bandits would most likely camp the generators sniping anyone who got near. Well I think that would be a minimal chance to take, would you rather have an area lit up for a few hours or maybe get shot by a sniper. I just think that it would add another factor into the whole night aspect of the game. If you see a part of a town lit up at night you know that there is a human nearby. Bandit or survivor the choice is up to you, enter the village or go around.

There should just be random generators around some towns. You would have to fill a jerry can with fuel to transfer the fuel to the generator. After you turn on the generator it should light up a few spot lights or some street lamps. The down side would be generators are loud as hell so you would be attracting a lot of zombies to the area.

Well first off this game is zombie simulator. Yes there are huge towns that there civilians were turned into zombies. It's a simulator, there for in a real life scenario, yea you could be a lone-wolf but you would have a greater chance of living if you were in a group, which this game reflex. If you want to play a solo game why not get a server and put a password on it that you only know? Whining on the forums about a change in ALPHA is not going to change anything, its a free mod. If you don't like where the game is at in this point of time take a week off and come back later. Who knows they might lower the zombie limit, they may not. Patches have been coming a lot so just wait out the storm. If you don't like the state of the game and not having fun with it stop playing? No one is forcing you to play.

I was doing some research and I think I may know what the problem is. I downloaded the free weekend/free play arma 2 a few months back, I never really played the game and forgot about it. Do you think that the CD key some how got transferred over to my bought version of Arma? Also is there anyway you can use regedit to change the registry files and enter in the correct CD key?

Hello all, I've recently purchased Arma II and OA off steam a few days ago. I've installed both games and updated. I've also installed the most resent DayZ mod files. I can play Arma II with no problem I can join multiplayer games and everything. The problem I'm having is when I try to join any multiplayer game while on OA I come up with a error that says "Bad CD Key" and then it boots me back to the server listing. Has anyone else experienced this? Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks, Weft
