    the problem is the only reason in the entire game for teamwork is the helicopter. Yes i know bloodbags require another person. But real groups only go after one thing: the heli. And after that? Become a bandit. How do i know this? Ive been there. After you have a couple of cars, a heli and a huge camp, the game becomes boring, with absolutely nothing to do but shoot people.

    A serious question: why can't they make the zombies directly follow the player in the mod? Is the engine preventing that, because I think ive heard that all the zombies are juat enemy ai designed to attack you straight on rather than find cover.

    previously mentioned, but ty anyways :). I'm like 90% sure its just the weather. I've seen servers go from moonlit to overcast and it gets really dark from that.

    I think that everything they did to the zombies is great. AI pathing has been, and will be the issue holding zombies back in the mod. The problem with the update isn't that they aggro to easy. The problem is you can't shoot the damn things when they aggro. You basically have to wait until they're hitting you to kill them. Zombies would be perfectly balanced if they could fix the AI patching and slowed them down a bit. FYI I know that the patching is hard to fix. Also I think the high chance of bleeding and and breaking your legs is dumb, considering they slap you like a half retarded monkey, but whatever. Really zombies aren't scary or threatening...they're simply a pain in the ass. When a zombie attacks you, and makes you bleed or breaks your legs, you just get pissed off and annoyed, because you literally had no control over the situation. When you fight a player, your heart rate goes up, which Is what dayz was intended to do(your heart rate and being scared, not PvP lol). So really, zombies need a mechanic to put fear in players, like massive hordes, or special infected (ya I know rocket doesn't want to), because right now they're a pain in the ass rather than a fear inducing gameplay mechanic, hence why the game has such problem with bandits. If the as50 attracted hordes from really far away, they would think twice before shooting someone. I mean, look how scary blood suckers are in namalsk. They induce fear and panick, because you don't know how to really deal with them.

    you can try deleting your battleye DLLs. It worked for me once... I basically can't play dayz though, because battleye sucks balls, and I constantly get #45

    I think my character died because I was being chased by zeds and I was unaware of it. I like the idea, but maybe a zombie chase indicator would be nice, just like the combat one.

    I think everyone's forgetting dayz will use the minecraft model. I think a player face creation tool would be neat, but that would be something they add after its been released.

    No, simply because it will be a "oh if you join our server you start with this. Fine then our server will give you a heli" and also the problem of bugs/inconsistencies in gameplay. What if a server starts you with as50s, then everyone would just join that server to get an as50 and leave. I see where you're coming from but it wont work.for private hives. Fine. But they already have that so in assuming you're talking about public hive, which wouldn't work.

    Everyone knows everyone aimbots in counter strike. Its a known fact. But in all my years playing tf2 and gmod vac has done great. Don't even think I've seen a hacker.

    Well I see plenty of hackers roaming about not getting kicked.... Just the other day I saw 6 to 10. They all killed each other... Want a good anti cheat. Look at VAC. Thank god the standalone is using it.

    44 has no fix. Ive already tried reinstalling battleye 4 times after I got the error. I don't even think its day I think that battleye is the most retarded anti cheat out their. I seriously hope they change it for arma 3.

    Love the update but not battleye. Literally getting raped by script restriction 44. It literally kicks 5 people at a time about every 5 mins or so, including me, and once you get kicked you can't get back in.
