Ya i've seen people that might be hackers, but they could be lagging too. Truth is, the amount of hackers are exaggerated. I've seen 1 that i though was a hacker. -

Remove max mem. It limits the memory arma will use. Also, run as administrator. After that, go into task manager, then processes, and set its priority to high. You can check out my graphics thread too, if you want. -

I SERIOUSLY GET FUCKING PISSED ABOUT SOME OF THESE RULES FOR SERVERS. I love rocket and all he does, but seriously. If it wasn't for server owners spending THEIR money, his mod wouldn't be where it is today. Should player be kicked for no reason, simply because the admin wants to? No Should player be banned for altf4/ghosting? Yes, if you have solid proof of who it was. Should a player be banned if found with hacked weapons? Yes, would you rather risk a scripter kill everyone on your server, or ban a innocent person who has 3000 other servers to play on. Thats just my opinion... -

If you pay for a server, you shouldn't have to risk a server you pay for getting attacked by hackers. If i owned a server, i would ban anyone with a hacked weapon, whether they spawned it or not. Its their fault for picking it up. -

I have a intel core 2 duo @2.8Ghz, 6 gigs of DDR2 @ 800 Mhz, and a Nvidia geforce 550 Ti, and i get 25 fps in cities with everything on high, and get 50-60 fps in the wilderness. -

Sorry for some reason i thought you had a nvidia card. Ya but still AA should be around high. Also yes, leave your monitor the same resolution. Putting the 3D up in game makes the image crisper. I have mine at 114%. If you look at your compass, you can easily see the difference it makes. To test it, look at your compass, and go to 80%, then 100%, then above 100% -

Two things. Put your 3d resolution up. It is the setting that makes the game look the best. Also if you turn on fxaa in your nvidia control panel you only need to set you AA to normal or high. -
WHY. WHY DOES EVERYONE SAY ARMA III IS NOT A GOOD/OPTIMIZED ENGINE. Yes arma II's engine was kind of shabby, but thats the big thing about arma III! Its engine is much smoother and much better, and now it has Physx technology for more realistic vehicles, objects etc. You can't say a engine is bad if you haven't even tried it yet. The displays BI was showing wasn't a insane rig either, so that means this is much smoother then arma II is.

Unless they fix the murders when defending yourself thing i don't want any indicators. To many time people get labeled as a bandit when they are truly not. -
