I was at the event about 30-45 mins in when someone ghosted Into the tower. Not sure if this is the same incident but it didnt last long. Funny shit none the less. Hope to make it to the next event.

headed to the freeside trade camp looking to trade for a ghille. nvg gps antibiotics available to trade. if anyone is interested add to steam. ninjastirfry. I guess the event starts in about an hour or so. requesting to meet at event for a little bit of security for both partys.

tried making a plan to meet up with this guy. i told him i would be unarmmed and only carrying items requested for trade. expected the same from him. but he "had" to have his 2 buddys with him during the trade..so i dont really think hes up for a legit deal. also alot of time between replys. my best guess was him and his buddys were planning a setup.

I can confirm for stary military tents . Thought it was just one particular server. Checked 4 or 5 other servers and it was the same thing on all of them.

these "bandits" thinking they are all high and mighty sniping out unarmed fresh spawns.. but as soon as a bullet lands anywhere near them they "OH SHIT HE SHOT BACK ABORT ABORT" alt+f4 i think thats what the real problem is..

your best bet is just take everyones word for it and go buy arma II co. download the mod. and play..youll learn as you go along. its worth the purchase.

another good thing to mention would be what servers you frequent..i see alot of posts of people looking to team up but fail to mention what part of the world they play on....

its because he was an asshole. people dont really seem to get the concept that you can survive longer/have a better time teaming up. it seems all that 90% of players care about is the murder count. 9% only want to hoard vehicles/loot off map. and the other 1% want to team up/make friends/start a group.

my guess would be youll get a bullet in the head for it...along with the rest of your gear. dont trust anyone to give you a "fair trade"

I miss 773. That was the only server ive ever found friendlys.

seems like the only place i can attempt to help is on the forums. anytime i try to help ingame they try to take a swing at me with an axe :\ makes me feel bad when i have to put them down..

is this happening on ALL servers? your likely spawning at dusk/dawn

Im from edmonton. Havent had much luck finding any kind of a group. When there were a couple canadian servers i wasent able to join. Now i hang out on seattle 24 (lowest ping for me) Steam id - ninjastirfry I might actually be too canadian for dayz. Dont like shooting other players :D (unless its self defense)

What is this? Did i stumble into a diablo 3 thread or something?

Names TJ. 26yrs old from canada in game ninjastirfry. dont have a home server. just tend to go for lowest ping. I never shoot on sight. only played in a small met ingame group once. but server issues broke us up and i havent had much luck finding friendlys since. hope to see some of you in game...without a gun pointed at my head...

didnt have quite the same thing happen. but I was attacked by zombies at nw airfield at night. managed to get away alive with a broken leg and about 700 blood. passing out constantly. crawled to the woods and commited suicide. next day I load a game and instead of the normal fresh respawn routine of picking character gender i simply spawned in a barn somewhere with about 6 cans of pop and 3 cans of beans. couple 2rnd pellets no guns. i thought it was kind of weird.

looking for Mark and imdying. met up on us 773. we were cruising in the bus we got fixed up. imdying got killed while watching over us raid the military tents in sober. then we got hit with some rubber band glitch. i couldent reconnect. finally got back on and mark was long gone with the bus. trying to team up again if at all possible

today i was looting in a supermarket. was in one of the back rooms with a hatchet. saw an unarmed survivor run in. he didnt see me. i let him know i could see he was unarmed and i wouldent attack. so he hung out for a bit. found a bus. got it up and running.. we were looking for gas. i was guarding the bus while he was off looting. saw another survivor come runnin with a hatchet. they must have been excited about the bus. but saw me with a shotgun pointed at there head and ran off. i had to catch up and tell them i was friendly. invited them to the bus. 3 of us traveled together for quite awhile. untill our new member got sniped. something happened to the server where myself and the other survivor kept getting rubber banded back to the same location after running back to our bus. tried to disconnect and recconnect to fix the problem. but i got stuck at loading screen and game crashed :\ finally got back on but the bus and my partner were gone. oh well... shortly after i got back i ran into 2 more survivors who were friendly. we came across a heli crash site but the server crashed shortly after and was no longer in the list.. what a good night. lol

well im not sure what the problem is. I updated to 1.7.2.3 and the latest beta. but all the servers have a red X on them. it says i have version 1.61 required 1.61.94444 i dunno what this means..
