Whenever I ran DayZ I never got this error but yesterday I started the mod up and this error appeared: 'No entry 'C:\Users\user\Documents\Arma 2\Arma2OA.cfg.3D_Performance'. The game runs up fine but the graphics look very crappy and I can barely see the text or really anything on the mod. I've searched the forums but I can not find a solution, please help.

I decide to try a veteran server because I am bored and I never really go on them because third person is disabled. I figure out that they allow third person on veteran servers, at least the ones I went on, so I decide to stay on it and continue my adventure. I head to Cherno to find literally 10 bodies dead, what I figured from this was that a hacker insta-killed everyone, because no one was in Chernogorsk. I loot a body luckily finding him in the woods near Cherno and I find an L85 and an M9 suppressed, and I'm really suprised because I've never seen an L85 before. I head into Cherno and find one of the enterable buildings, the orange one, destroyed. The first thing I thought was, well someone had a rocket launcher, right? I hear a few rockets go off, now knowing it was that guy who destroyed it. I couldn't see him so I thought that he was probably just a hacker, and continued on, ignoring him. I then hear sniper shots off a building, the shots kept getting closer, when soon I realized he was shooting at me, I got away though. I enter one of the red enterable buildings where I thought, man these carry camos don't they? Right when I thought that I saw 'camo clothing' on the ground, so I picked it up, knowing it might be glitched because before ghille suits reset all your vest equipment, so I put my L85 in my bag. I try it on and it resets my bag, and I lose the L85, but I didn't really care. I continue on and the server resets so I log onto another veteran server, then head to Elektro. I see a helicopter flying in the air and he sees me, so he lands onto the medical building's roof, but before I could get up there he takes off. I head into the general store to find a guy there, thinking he'll probably kill me (couldn't see well because it was nighttime). Once I kill him another guy starts shooting at me, which was his friend, so I start firing at him at 3000 blood thinking he'll probably kill me. I see him crouching on the ground, so I creeped around the food shelves (whatever they're called) and I release my whole clip into him. Loot him, see he's got a M4 CCO suppressed, but before I could pick it up another guy shoots me and I die. I've got to say, Veteran servers are a lot more fun than Regular servers. And I'm starting to think Veteran servers have better loot than Regular, but that could've just been my luck. Has anyone else found Veteran servers more action-packed than the others? Because to me these servers have now changed my DayZ experience, it's made the experience a lot more fun!

just happened to me...mortal kombat message, dc, reconnect, I'm dropping from very high into the wilderness than bam..dead.

Luckiest: I logged onto a server and was in a supermarket and saw 3 dead bodies, was rewarding because I found a few nice guns, but was also scared because there could have still been guys who killed them (I was in Cherno). I make my way over to some buildings when I see a guy camping in the top of the fire department/house? (he went up the latter outside, he was on top of the outside part). So I decide to take a look at what he's got, I was climbing the latter to him but didn't go all the way up, just so much as I could see him because I was in third person. He had a coyote backpack, which made me excited because I really wanted one. Right when he's not looking I climb up and spray him with my aks-kobra, at this point my heart was beating so freaking fast. I take his backpack and see whats in it, the things I took were the NV goggles, compass, 5 rounds of 30rnd AK ammo for my kobra, and the other type of binoculars (the rare ones), like 6 rounds of stanag SD mags, and a lot of other stuff that was useful. I get my ass out of cherno before someone notices me and I look on my map when I realize he marked himself on the map saying "I am here", he was baiting people so he could kill them. Unlukiest: (This is a continuation off the story) I make my way over to Stary Sobor when a sniper shoots me in the head. yay!

ugh I misread your post I thought you meant change the 3D_Performance=100000; and adapter=-1; to which ever file has it, I didn't 'add' them into the ARMA2OA file. I just did that now and it's not showing the error but the graphics are not changing back to normal, probably because the arma2 file with '3d_performance' isn't supposed to have a value of 100000? It originally had a value over 4000000 but it had specific numbers before. Is this the problem? EDIT:The 3d_performance value in the ARMA2 file that I put to '100000' also had a minus (-) in it if this helps.

I went to 'Start' and looked up 'arma2' on my search bar and saw that adapter=-1 and 3D_Performance=100000 on the arma2 file on notepad, I saved it afterward and re-checked just in case.

Did it, still gives the error and didn't work.

So I was on a server and just headed into Zelenorgorsk when suddenly including me everyone on the server dies...what the hell..and I found a m4a1 cco not to long ago. Is this a hack or something cause I don't ever get angry when I die but this death is ridiculous.

I updated to the latest versions, got 1.7.2.4 files installed and patch 95389 installed. Every time I join a server it's saying that I am kicked from the game, it won't let me join one, how do I fix this problem? I tried updating to patch 95417 but that didn't work so I went back to 95389.

I only have one ARMA II running..right before it creates my character it says "You were kicked off the game"

I have a compass and map, and whenever I get these and hit 'M' I can see myself on the map. I don't know if this has to do with the compass, but I can see a mark of myself pointing in the direction I'm going. I log on today and see that my mark isn't on the map, only when I switch servers is when it shows up. Is there a certain button I can press while looking on the map to see myself directly on the map? Is this a glitch?

I was on a Regular server and it didn't show up. :/

A day or two ago I was pissed that I accidentally deleted an MP5 that was on the ground because I forgot that I needed 10 slots in my backpack to fit it in. I said to myself when I spawned (I died shortly after) that if this first deer stand I go to doesn't have an MP5, I'm getting off for the day. Very luckily I found an M9SD and an MP5 in the first deer stand I found. Also today, I found an M16.

I killed 2 bandits today, them shooting at me first. I don't really trust anyone in the game so I'm usually the one to shoot first, and I don't hesitate and wait for them to see me, lol.
