Today was my 1st day playing SA and it was a blast. My first encounter with a player was when I logged back into the server after eating my xmas dinner, and some guy was axeing me before I had fully loaded >.> ok I can deal with that. My respawn though put me right by where I had died, and behold he was still there but now had my M4, I run in fist wildly going everywhere knocking him down, grabbing my weapon back from him (kinda cool I could do that) And shot him when he got back up. Was fun!

What is more common in the battle field along with dehydration but hot/cold weather injurys some are minor IE sun burns while others can cause great damage and possibly even death. Each type would bring different symptoms. Blurred vision, becoming unconscious and eventually you can die if not treated. Idea is add another HUD icon, would say a tempature gauge that monitors yourself red is hot blue is cold and you wanna try and keep it in a neutral area. Since we have basic weather effects, rain lighting, sunny days. Can make it so it causes an effect on players to. This is a survival game after all. Hot weather types: Sunburn- mild burn maybe just speed decrease Heat stroke- random passing out, death if not taken care of Shaded areas, drinking water, staying cool instead of running all over Russia can help prevent or cure hot weather injurys Heat exhaustion- Heat cramps- running around in heat can cause you to get cramps which could slow you down. Cold weather types: Frostbite- loss of limp usage, debuff in speed if foot infected, steady aim if hands, hearing if ears etc etc Hypothermia- cause Mainly after going into water to refill canteens, Causes shakes/ death if not cured. Slow blindness(snows in Russia) preventable by wearing sunglasses. Causes temp blindness A lot of the cold weather can be "cure" with blankets, camp fires anything to warm the body The list could go on and on but I'm sure you get the idea!

The being able to run from one side of the map to the other without passing out from heat stroke on a hot ass day is not realistic enough? Or suitable for this game? .. But pooping and pee is .... Y'all some strange gamers

So I had this idea at work together browsing through the forums of some people needing more "objective based" game play. Which I know this is not what this game is about, and i enjoy it just how it is. However what if we tried to take the current system and make a mode for those groups of people who like to work together as team to survive. Hear me out. Idea: Two groups of people lets say a Military based group and a bandit based, wanna hash it out to see who is the better group. We put them into a server which only they are allowed to access, spawn them randomly throughout the map, give them 30 days and see who survives the longest. The 2 groups have to meet up with each other teams members, set up camp, scavenge food/supplys and outlast the opposing team, while avoiding the zed horde and the enemy team. The teams would start off fresh, and unable to transfer any equipment with them. Scoring: There were many ways I could think off to score, which all have pros/cons. Could: Base if off deaths, but one team could just log out and never come back on. Base it off kills, same problems as above. Give them all one life only once your dead your booted from the server till the game is over, but might turn into just a deathmatch. Based off combined hours survived. Based off amount of stuff scavenged up. List could go on. The core of Dayz would stay the same, to survive just this game mode opens it up for player/clan/groups to put there survival skills to the test. I am not so great with explaining my ideas but I hope you get what i'm saying. Ain't something im suggestion just something to discuss.

Well that is your opinion, thanks.

The sandbox is still in effect, this is a way for 2 clans to settle a dispute without others getting in the way.

Did yall read the whole post? Do you understand the point of it? If not go somewhere else. This is a discussion not a place to tell other how stupid there ideas are, so come back later when you have something productive to say.

Why we have it set time limit and nothing transfers over... how is that exploitable?
-
It be you and you rival team on the same server, basically its your team vs there team for survival!

I was thinking so, still could use alot of detail but atleast i got the idea of it along, and would go perfect with those people declaring war.

Basically our HP is blood correct? Seeing how this game is about realism doesn't your body regenerate blood within yourself? What do they do for people who loose blood? If its not a high amount nothing right? Cause the body takes care of itself when a person loose blood new blood cells are release to replenish what was lost. So to keep this game realism up, blood regain is a good idea. Doesn't make the game any different if done right, blood packs are still useful to restore large amounts of blood loss. Just make it so you don't restore blood logged off and you need to be in a rested state for it to work. I hear people always talking about keeping the game realistic and this is keeping it realistic.

The sex part was a joke if you can understand humor... Don't think a sex sim in any game is really good think it's just stupid.

Just two suggestions first of course would be a quiver for the Xbow. I mean in a realistic setting one would run around with 4 bolt he would have a bag full. At first the thought of getting a Xbow was great, silent weapon plenty of ammo, till I found one and found out it was only one bolt per slot. Maybe it would have been better if you could always pull the bolt out of the corpse but no. Second suggestion was a force/manual save just like how we save our tents, cars, helis. Recently have been have problems with my character getting saved. I run around for hours when I get dced or log off I end back up where I was when I started and all that work lost. Could be as simple as /save right before I log. What y'all think? Note: typing on my iPhone so sorry for some typos
