no, what he said is correct. If you're running steam version you MUST run Arma II and then Operation Arrowhead to install/associate the serial number w/ the software. -

If you're using the six updater, try downloading/putting the files in the folder manually. If not, just advise. -
This a timeline of my patching process. Manually downloaded/installed full install of patch via .torrent (here) Manually downloaded/installed latest beta patch 94945 Got waiting on host errors This error occurs with the latest beta patch, revert to 94876: Download the beta patch (here) Extract anywhere Run the .exe (as administrator of course) Run the game, join server (if it fails on the first attempt, try one more server just to make sure If this doesn't work, post step by step what you did and we'll figure it out.

ok the ram/video card should run this game just fine..what processor are you using as it may be bottlenecking. Also, what kind of mouse are you using (wired/wireless/dpi[if known]) Check to make sure you have the latest graphics card driver as well. Also (worth trying) Go to the Start > Control Panel > Mouse Click on the Pointer Options tab Ensure that Display Pointer Trails, Smart Move, and Acceleration in Games options are disabled(some of these options may not be displayed, depending upon which version of Windows you are using) Exit the Mouse Properties window by clicking OK to save your changes -
Updated to 1.7.2.2...now Wait for Host
ihasashuvel replied to fshelton3@yahoo.com's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
This bug happens along when you install the latest beta patch, revert to 94876 here install the exe and it will overwrite the beta patch you have and **SHOULD** work. If not, post and we'll figure it out. -
D3D errors can mean a lot, how are your other games running? Make sure you have the latest graphical driver (what graphics card do you have btw.) Also, see any artifacts in your other games? ie:big green triangles and the like

Not sure, I haven't ever used six launcher, but if you download the torrent and just drag/drop into the addons folder (assuming you use steam) it will update.
