You are welcome to try UK417, it is a private hive with whitelist turned on (you will need to apply on the forums to be added to the whitelist). Quite a good mix of bandits and friendlies on there too.

There has been a lot of applications for the Whitelist since it was turned on, we are still looking for active players of all types to mix things up a bit! The server is running Chernarus, more vehicles have been added, but not to an excessive amount. The server is based in the UK and has a ping limit of 150. If you are a lone wolf or a group and are interested in being added to the Whitelist, please try to join the server (so we can grab your GUID) and then apply at www.stormerclan.com

Spirit Waffles - it looks like we are still waiting to grab your GUID so you can be added to the Whitelist. You will need to attempt to join (and then get kicked) so we can get it from the logs.

Most players will soon figure out if an admin is abusing his powers and stop playing on that server.

This server has just gone up, Oring looks to be a very good map. Come and join - server is based in the UK and will be whitelisted once it gets a regular player base.

UK417 used to be public, but is now Private and whitelisted, it has a few more vehicles than default - but not excessive like a lot of the servers you see. It's not going anywhere any time soon, so consider making that your new home (you will have to apply for whitelisting)

Because it is true, it is a double edged sword, the hackers can do so much damage to a server - but the admins have tools to counteract them, which is fair enough, but they can also see where legit players are (and teleport to them if they wish). Anyway , nice vid, but 'Crysis' sounds about 8 years old and very annoying.............

Hi all! UK417 was the ranked the No1 Public Hive in the UK, it has now been made Private Hive and is Whitelisted - to apply to be on the Whitelist please go to www.stormerclan.com and follow the link on the home page. The map is still Chernarus, the vehicle spawns have been altered but are not excessive (you still have to work to find them!), there are 2 Hueys, 2 Mi17's, 2 Little Birds - total vehicles number about 80, the starting loadout is default. If you are looking for a good Private Hive server that doesn't have excessive vehicles and an easy starting loadout this could well be the server for you! Look forward to seeing anybody that cares to join :)

To all those who play on UK417 Public Hive you will probably have noticed it has been down for the last day. I had some issues while trying to update to 1.7.5.1, and because I was constantly restarting it to see if I had fixed it, I put a temporary password on it (I was getting a lot of players trying to join every time I restarted). 1.7.5.1 just wouldn't work, and I could see no reason why in the logs, so I rolled back to 1.7.4.4 - this time I can see in HiveExt.log a message about 'permission denied (using password=YES)', even though the password was taken off by now, so it looks like the server has been blacklisted from the Hive :( I have put in a Support Ticket, but as I have another open ticket I raised back in November about something else that never got answered, I am not holding out much hope it will get resolved - and if it doesn't, I will most likely turn this server into a Private Hive. Apologies to all the regulars who had made their home and camps on that server, thanks for making this the No1 Public server in the UK over the past months.

I updated my server to 1.7.5.1 and just get 'requesting authentication' then it either hangs on a black screen or says 'something went wrong, disconnect and try again' I've tried to join other servers but I get kicked for script restriction #44 (I changed the scripts.txt on mine). I am not sure at the moment whether I have a problem with the server or my client, I have reinstalled both a couple of times now - anybody else having issues?

I'm looking at running Taviana, but it seems there are different versions and I'm getting a bit confused :( I played on a server a few weeks back where you could select which P2P zones you spawned in, I quite liked that. Any advice on the different versions? I am running Pwnoz0r's server files if that makes any difference.

One of my admins is a DBA, so that's covered, I guess I just assumed there would be a ready made mission file somewhere!

Thanks for that, dayztaviana.com 2.0 looks the best option then? Does that have those P2P spawn zones? Also, where do I find the server files and DB stuff for this? TIA

It's fine mate, all my clan members play on our Private Hive anyway, and a few of them have been asking for another server running a different map so now is the time to do it! I just feel sorry for the regulars - but for any of those looking for a new home that is well admined I recommend UK410 :)

That was the impression I got too mate, no chance of getting this sorted at all then? It is a shame, as we had a lot of regulars on there, and it was only passworded for about an hour while I was stopping/starting it all the time! I didn't actually play on it (I play on my Private Hive), but I know how frustrating it is when your 'home' server closes and you lose all your camps etc :(

I tried to join yours to see if it was my client that was the problem, I got kicked for script restriction#44 :( I'm going to drop you a PM to see if we can help each other out here...............

It's a public server, I can't see any obvious error in the RPT or HiveExt.log.............
