Ok, by no means am I asking for a starter weapon. I am just curious as to what people would prefer as a starting weapon. Basic weapon wise... I know no one uses them anymore really because of the duping ect. But I am curious to what people would want to start with? Take into game play, difficulty, and your style of game play. Should be interesting. [edit] Update: Added axe/crowbar.... didn't think of it... so ... bump?

Hmm interesting, is the view distance disabled then? Arma2 you can definitally change it. I haven't messed with it because I left it the same from my arma2:oa days. Thanks for the tip

also try using gameboost pro beta3. I've had some good luck with that. Also close anything in your back ground, set your view distance to like 1000 and turn down how detailed terrain is. (I assume if you haven't already)

I use a plantronics set. They were around 80-90 dollars a couple years ago. work great. my friends playing don't hear bullets being fired when I do from a distance, and usually I can pin point it down to about 10-20 degrees of range after one or two shots http://www.loopygadgets.com/2010/06/plantronics-gamecom-777-surround-sound-gaming-headphones/

I shot my friend that was sick after we couldn't find antibiotics over 2 days. Not really an accident. Then i've shot one on accident than ran through my fire because i started opening up at the same time i said contact and he ran into my fire lane on accident

Why not just take them out of the game, and tents. Make it to where you have to hold and control. Just an idea, doesn't mean i'm all for it.

The higher pop servers seem to attract the most hacker activity. Also what nova said, Private servers are nice
