Doesn't matter if YOU would gladly pay $60, what matters is what the game is worth to everyone else. I would NOT pay $60 and I have a GREAT job. --- To the OP, we pay or get left behind. Hopefully they will turn over the Arma 2 Mod version (at 1.7.1.5 or maybe a later stable build if there ever is one again) over to someone else so those who do not want to pay again don't have to. I think it's reasonable to ask for some sort of discount since they know very well that we paid to playtest this for them.

This is a terrible argument. Why are you telling someone to stfu when YOU don't know what you're talking about? The use of BattlEye is required to keep your server white-listed yet EVERYONE knows BattlEye isn't stopping anything. It never will. The Devs know this too. Why are we still forced to have servers with it? The only way to fix this is to move away from Arma 2 or you will see hackers galore until the end of time. Seeing as there is no planned standalone release date... we get to have fun with hackers AND terrible anti-cheat for a long while.

Hopefully not soon. There are plenty of bugs that need to be fixed first.

You don't even need blood bags. Killing animals is easy and as a solo Bandit you're not ever supposed to get hit. You kill before you're noticed. There aren't many ways to nerf a solo bandit. You can't buff groups too much because they already have an easy time surviving. The solo survivor is the one who needs a buff. The problem is there's not really a way to do that either without helping the solo bandit.

This forum isn't very clogged at all. There's not such an influx of new posts that you can't read anything without it getting bumped off the first page. I don't read megathreads because all the beans aren't in one place. If I see an interesting post title then I click it.

Why not have unique skins that are only available by doing weird things like only ever eating cans of beans. You could call it the Supermarket Survivalist skin. If you eat anything other than beans ever you lose that skin. Better yet would be one that is available for eating only cooked animal meat and drinking only bottled water. You could get a title next your name in-game as well. Destry - Supermarket Survivalist or Destry - Carnivore

If nobody hosted servers, this mod wouldn't exist anymore because Bohemia would have to provide those servers. There's a reason they don't already do that. Server Admins are doing a service to the game. It's not a priledge.

Underground bases is a stupid idea. Attempting to fix server hopping is a good idea.

I killed some guy who was proned in a ghillie suit and M4A3 CCO watching a doorway in a night server at the NWAF. I got a murder for it but I know he was trying to start a life of banditry. A lot of would-be bandits probably die before they can ever achive banditry.

OP you can make a pretty good tower for around $500-$600.
