Dont get me wrong, most of the time, if I see you before you see me, your dead, and I'm grabbin your lootz. However, in the interest of making Dayz the best it can be, I think this is actually very simple. At present there are simply not enough zombies in the game to make it difficult to survive. This leads to some of the boredom that some players complain about, and it definitely contributes to the KOS mentality that allot complain about. For the amount of resources available to you, weapons, food and water, it is too easy to survive the environment. It is only other players that pose a threat, and thus the real challenge becomes PvP. If in fact it was really hard to get into a town, and survive the hoard to get the resources, then folks would have to band together to get the food and water they need to survive. Hence: More Zombies = Better game

Suggestion: Fighting holes and Cover and concealment It would be nice to be able to use a shovel in the woods to dig in and create a fighting hole and use some of the foliage to conceal yourself. if you had a good team of survivors, you could set up a nice defensive perimeter with some barbed wire, holes, and camp site. Perhaps even enable claymores and trip wires for added security

I hear what you are saying about the balance. And I have only played for about 10 hours total so far, but I am finding it difficult to get to far destinations due to hunger and thirst, and that we spawn on the coast. Perhaps I just need to stock up on food and drink before I set out for the airport

Just wondering why in a game where the time of day is set to real time, why does my character dehydrate or die of hunger so quickly Should the time for this be increased? I would guess at least doubled.

Just started playing, have 1 night under my belt, and best run so far was about 2 hours survived. Just wanna show my support for this MOD. AWESOME work! 1 Question: How the Hell do you throw a Flare or chem light... I must be missing something as I just seem to drop it....
