  1. fixed some db issues - most notably: all tents are working properly again!
  2. check our forums @ totalpunishmentgaming.com we try to keep an updated list of the bandits who frequent our server.
  3. Thanks to Dagger and Jiggyballs, our DayZ, tf2 and cs servers are back up! Below is the info for our DayZ server: 198.24.161.202:2302 *NEW IP* DayZ - TPG Private Hive VA US106 [DayZ 1.7.5.1/101747] [Regular, Max Vehicle, *Always Day*] Please note 1) the new ip and 2) the database is brand new - meaning if you've played on us106 before you character, vehicles, tents, etc are GONE. This is in no way ideal, but such is life. For more info, please head to totalpunishmentgaming.com Stay safe, chernarus!
  4. good to see you guys recruiting (: while these guys are bandits, they're honorable ones. we respect that. see you out there!
  5. we've just been informed by our server host that sometime yesterday our box had an unfortunate hard drive crash. this means all of our servers will be down for the majority - if not all - of this weekend. furthermore, once this mess is cleaned up we have no guarantee that anything will be as it was in the past. this is, of course, of little impact to games like tf2, cs:s, cs:go, chivalry and natural selection 2 - except perhaps the resetting of some stats, etc.. dayz, however, is a whole other animal. we hope that our dayz db will remain largely unaffected, but we won't know for sure until our host can migrate our servers to another box. we are looking into perhaps changing box location to a more centrally located datacenter, but no decisions have been made in that regard. it's likely that our ip(s) will change, so please be aware of that. please check this thread, along with our forums (totalpunishmentgamin.com) for any and all updates. we are currently hosting a temporary teamspeak (54.235.176.166) and updates may be given quicker there, but rest assured they will be posted both here an on our forums asap. we apologize for this interruption in service, and we hope to have it fixed as quickly as possible. we appreciate both your patience and your continued support of ]TPG[ and our gaming community.
  6. we definitely appreciate you posting on our forums about the bans before you came here and just started accusing us of 1) banning for no reason (unless you count 'finding an admin camp' a reason - which we don't) and 2) spawning in gear (which we ABSOLUTELY do not do). oh, wait. you didn't. we pride ourselves in running a tightly-administrated, fair and friendly place to play. most of our kicks and many of our bans are automated (map-hacks, for example are sometimes auto-banned) thanks in large part to the anti-hack efforts of many people not involved with our clan, though our admins are very active both as players and from a ban/kick persepctive. although i'm sure you couldn't care less at this point, i invite you to pelase post on our forums with your ingame name, guid, ip and rough date and time the ban, along with a brief description of what happened. i'd be happy to look into it for you. i can assure you, depsite what it might seem, that no one has EVER been banned for 1) killing us 2) stealing our stuff 3) finding our camps or 4) marking, telling or otherwise broadcasting anything located on our server - UNLESS THEY WERE HACKING TO DO IT. there is, however, the distinct possibility that one of our admins was watching what you were doing - be it through gCam or just our admin tool(s) - and believed you were using map hacks or something similar. we are, of course, human and therefore prone to errors. that's why we have a bans appeal section on our forums. ask around - we've unbanned plenty of folks who were accidentally or erroneously banned. after all, our main goal is to provide the most fair and 'realistic' dayz experience we can.
  7. we're constantly working on the hive and other database tweaks, so your input is invaluable. so please come play on us106, hop in teamspeak and let us know how we're doing on our forums!
  8. hummer and mh6j both added with custom spawn points. also we reworked the random gear spawn script for our vehicles (most notably we added all of the new weapons to the vehicle spawn loot table) and our custom loadouts are back working. we're probably holding another green mt. like event this weekend so if you're interested in seeing what we're all about, hop in ts and in game and join in the fun!
  9. we're (finally) on a (cobbled together) 1.7.5.1 bliss package! once crosire updates dayzcc for 1.7.5.1, we'll be moving to that again. for now, custom donator loadouts are not working and there are a few other bugs that don't necessarily happen on 1.7.5.1 stock pub hive servers. please note any bugs you find on our forums or in teamspeak.
  10. still waiting for a 1.7.5.1-compatible dayzcc update. but until then, we're still rocking 1.7.4.4 added some new vehicles (covered pickups, lada limos and a new type of moto) and some new vehicle spawn points as well. so hop in a give us a try! just watch out for NF and [NCOM] and, to a lesser extent, SCUMBAG. they're our resident bandit groups (none are affiliated with ]TPG[ of course!)
  11. we're at nearlyy 200 vehicles, and we think it's right about where we'd want to keep it. but we're always looking for feedback on this and any other issue you, the players, think needs to be discussed. so hop in game and in ts and let us know what you think!
  12. server has been up for a while. i was stuck at work and unable to post about it. come join in!
  13. server is currently down for a daycc update. no estimated outage length, as the update has messed with our db. we're currently working out the kinks. i'll post as soon as it's going to be back up.
  14. there's usually an admin on, or 5 mins from a computer so rollbacks are often done within minutes. the only time that isn't the case is during late night EST. we're all fast asleep, unfortunately.
  15. in general, we don't roll back if the 'valid' restore point is more than an hour old. we feel, though the people affected by the hacker lose out, rollbacks any longer than this usually affect even more people and in-game manhours. that being said, it is sometimes easy to roll back individuals though i make no guarantees. if you'd like, please contact me via pm here, or on our forums at totalpunishmentgaming.com
  16. frankly, i can't believe you're still on this. it was, what, 6 months ago that you hacked after getting upset that we were annoyed you kept losing our vehicles on a public hive and stopped being friendly? seems like a silly waste of everyone's time - but thanks for bumping our thread! those of you reading this unfortunate exchange, i implore you to listen to neither of us. instead, come join our server and make up your own mind what kind of community we are. but i can assure you of one thing: no one has ever been banned for either rading our base, stealing our vehicles or killing us. unless they hacked doing it.
  17. been a while since i bumped this, but we're still here, going strong - and looking for people to come and join in the fun. so do it! (:
  18. just respawned dem blown up vehicles, yo. get in here!
  19. i'm sorry you got that impression. you must have played with a small portion of our people because most of us are usually friendly until fired upon or otherwise threatened. what time of day and with whom were you playing?
  20. i'm a total idiot! there was some... unpleasantness involving a ddos attack and a bad part at the datacenter. the server's ip is now: 209.222.93.91 (not .90), same with our teamspeak - time to edit the op... also: i've been playing a lot the past couple days and i feel the vehicle balance is near perfect. i've been hearing the same from a lot of our regular players. what say you?
  21. merry christmas! time for some holiday dayz, so hop in us106.
  22. been a few days since i've bumped this... been swamped at work and, you know, it's the holidays and all that. but US106 is still going strong - we're full most nights, so come on down!
