testers on build 112061 been playing for hours. It's ready and stable. Let it go, Dean. If you love it, set it free.
-
Lead animation artist for BiS!
-
http://t.co/t0ecKdrddH I rest my case. This is the most direct confirmation for the release.
-
yesterday was build 112040 I think?
-
This man gets it.
-
It's circumstantial, but think of his choice of words. Would they be concerned about a few of HOURS if Release was still weeks away.
-
Yes, they are counting hours till Release. http://www.reddit.com/r/dayz/comments/1q47ka/testers_say_today_is_like_any_other_day_there_is/cd915fg
-
There is a rational argument to be made about release in the next few days, albeit based on circumstantial evidence.
-
Only if they are committed to working through the weekend. Otherwise - next week!
-
Incorrect. Plug worst case and best case into your variables and you get best and worst case time estimates, otherwise why have variables? Btw, here at work I'm looking at Jira and I have point releases planned out till April 2014 with exact date accuracy (best case of course). How am I able to do that? Simple - every bug and feature that make up the release milestone ("such as improve UI performance when dealing with over 50K db objects") must have a time estimate from the responsible devel and with a push of a button I can calculate release date from it.
-
Jeez, then how a best case and worst case scenario?
-
It would all stop the moment Rocket gave a time frame reference for how long he believes the final testing will take. We already know that "everything is basically finished" and "we now just need to run a basic test to confirm everything works they way we believe it does"
-
You heard it first. They are now counting hours. Hours. This is how close we are. It IS happening.
-
I'm now convinced we have just witnessed the fist glimpses of the FINAL TEST. I'm raising the Imminence level to ORANGE.
-
They are calling in every available tester after a few days of low level activity. last time this happened with 22 ppl it was right before Rocket announced that all major components of the Alpha had been completed. The only thing remaining was the basic QA integration test. This MUST be it.
-
The big test IS HAPPENING
-
playing BOTH rocket AND rocket2 !!!
-
Test server is now called "DAYZ WEEKLY MULTIPLAYER (REV. 112040 + ONLY)" What does "weekly" mean in this context?
-
As he said in one of the interviews - they are removing all HUD elements and implementing a rogue like system for status notifications. You are standing in an open field west of a white house, with a boarded front door. There is a small mailbox here. ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ GIVE SA
-
Wonder how many servers they are preparing to avoid launch disaster? (anyone who still believes in "soft" launch with 1000 people is deluded IMHO). Using any auto-scaling Cloud tech like from Amazon? Does the hive still run on MySQL? :o
-
Rocket logged into the forum again, must be working on the secret SA section.
-
The number of steam players growing rapidly! Are they calling in all available testers again? Could this be the final stability testing of the Integration build?
-
Shit people will do for an Alpha key!
-
I see,, so just take the red pill. You'll be running in Alpha in no time. Say hi to everyone.
-
HAHAHAHAHA-HAHAHA You can thank me later.
