Sandbox games aren't for everyone, sad but some people lack imagination and require a carefully staged experience in order to have fun. I'm role playing a Chernorussian immigration officer now, approach fresh spawns and demand papers, first in Russian and then ask for a valid entry visa in English. It's been hilarious. -
I think it was in the menu in the first public builds (bit it didn't work), then they removed it. I miss it too, aiming deadzone + trackIR work great for immersion.

It could tie into the stamina system once it gets developed, for example a rubber bullet (or any round stopped by body armor) would still drain your stamina, maybe as much that you drop to the ground unable to move, but not necessarily unconscious.

Dean said many times that anti combat logging and anti server hopping measures have already been developed but are currently disabled for performance reasons. I know it's a shame because the new cool mechanics for restraining and hostage taking really require anti-combat logging system. -
There already a really good looking Soviet binoculars model, hope to see it in-game soon. This is an essential piece of survival equipment.

Hunter, 5 extra slots are nice but beeng greedy gets you killed in this game.

Before Alpha was released Rocket suggested on stream to play PZ because it was basically his inspiration for DayZ. If you played both you can see a lot of mechanics similarities in SA.

I don't need KoS for the game to be fun. You do know Project Zomboid is a popular game with a thriving community and it's basically about looting, farming and avoiding zombies?

I think the following algorithm would work well - time before being able to rejoin a new server should be inversely proportional to the time spend on the previous server. -

I want my AK too, but understand why m4 had to be in-game first. Patience.

I'm a friendly survivor and can't wait till radios are enabled. I would totally try to establish radio contact before entering a new area, or help other making distress calls. Should reduce unintentional KoS as well.

Alpha is the time to sweep the bugs and design flaws under the rug, they all need to be brought up and discussed, let developers prioritize the reported issues.

A 10 minute delay I can live with, I think Rocket mentioned having a progressive timer already implemented but currently disabled, this will help with ghosting, not so much with loot farming.

Server starts lagging There is a suspected hacker on the server You want to play with a non-local friend and you must re-join a server to which both of you have good ping (actually a case for me when playing with Russian friends)

There is no collision detection for Zombies according to Rocket, it'd be too computationally expensive. What they do is add path maps for every building, right now only a few buildings are configured.

Interesting, there could be a lot of hidden mechanics affecting accuracy and the base dispersion people have been quoiting could be just a starting point modified by your health/energy, weapon attachment and bullet condition.

If you change your FOV scopes are no longer accurate.

So far I've literally seen more m4s than zombies :) But I think it's OK for Alpha as the m4 serves as a test bed for the modular attachment system. It'd be hard to test and find bugs with attachments if they were super rare.

Some time a go Rocket posted a link to a pic of a map on Reddit in a discussion related to loot distribution in new highrises. The map appeared to be from a dev build and you could see three new towns in the North, Sinistok, Novopetrovka and Severograd.
