I've been exploring the North (and NOT killing people) and there is already some cool content, so far I found a cool huge traffic terminus station and there is a smaller also awesome train station mid-north.

I suspect they reduced base accuracy on purpose. In the mod an m16 with ACOG was a godly weapon, now you start with crap accuracy and must collect all the pristine parts to make it into a mid-range weapon. -

However (for me) turning it or 'Alpha to coverage' OFF makes the game look like shit. I's rather live with low fps. And AA is a must or my eyes bleed. -
A huge NO to skills from me. You get better by playing the game, learning the map, best ways to approach locations, moving tactically, where the best loot is, how to interact with players, what items are craft-able, etc. The whole idea about DayZ is that you are the player and you level is your gear. Creating artificial farmable skills will create a separation layer between you as a player and your in-game character.

I'm friendly, I have a Russian camo set and a hunters pack. I did drop ballistic helmet and gas mask because they make you look overly threatening.

Dropped my m4 when I finally found the Mosin. Ammo is abound in residential, so you are not dependent on dangerous military spawn areas.

Thank you for the updates, I'll be following the project. I got TrackIR5 for DayZ MOD back in 2012 and have not regretted a second of it, really adds to immersion.

This. He said they can spawn 4000 in debug builds - if they completely remove loot spawning, due to performance limitations on dynamic objects. Currently 1000 zombies are spawned on server start. -

Lots of exciting opportunities once permanent storage has been enabled. A community run safe zone with a bookstore, emergency medical center and a food kitchen. But for now each of us will have to commit one book to memory.

How many scopes are there for the Mosin? I've heard two or three. I've only found a PU scope in a residential area, do the other scopes spawn in residential or military only?

RIP. AK is a symbol of freedom, liberation, nationhood and self-determination for many nations around the world. Time after time it was used to free the native lands of American and European colonizers. I hope the in-game AK model will be of the highest quality.
