Try the LA servers, they are normally pretty close to Pacific time. LA 6 was like -4 from PDT yesterday. So should have some light.

Not every server runs on the same time they say they are in. I play West Coast servers and between the 5 or so I used yesterday they all had different time in game.

People also load up on mags like they're about to head into firefight with a platoon of bandits. People collect guns and ammo and Alt F4 out of contact. People that play Day Z are largely idiotic because we've been brainwashed to "collect things" in games.

I really don't understand why we have to impose a COOP system on the game. It's almost like 80% of the people who play Day Z have never made a friend or played in a community before. Seriously, get your buds together even if it's just one and play together.

You should go play ArmA where you would actually have a need for that gun. Or must we really relegate Day Z to the same Gucci Gun Grind that is the world of popular shooters? I'd rather see more rustic weaponry. Mosin Nagant needs to be modded in for sure.

If the sniper is any good you won't even hear the shot unless he misses one near you. At 3k blood even hitting you in the arm is gonna kill you.

I felt like shit when I committed my first murder, and it was a legit murder mainly out of frustration, we had even been helping each other for a while in the Balota military camp. I committed suicide against some zeds after I murdered the guy. After that shooting players has become really easy.

I wouldn't mind seeing random spawns in the middle of nowhere in conjunction with removing the little title at load that tells you where you are.

It will probably come out as official DLC with all sorts of other goodies. Thank god it isn't being ported to ArmA III right away, I can only imagine the shit storm from Day Z kiddies when they see the normal state of a BIS game on launch. Btw, if you hate ArmA but love Day Z you should consider yourself lucky because the PCs used to run the ArmA III Alpha at E3 make me/most want to cry.

This is why some zeds should be faster than people, can't just run away from all of them. You would still be able to run inside though, but with no gun or other weapon...

You will always find stuff you need and lots of it at the NW AF if you don't have decent gear. My character is like 4 weeks old because I rarely play but the last time I went to NW AF was specifically for NVG, GPS and M4 SD. No I didn't find any of them. I'm still humping around with my M4A3 and my Coyote Elite full of other crap (I know how sad). You aren't going to always find everything you want, like I couldn't because I had a specific shopping list. I did find tons of crap I didn't want like, numerous DMRs, M24, bunch of other nice guns but not what I wanted. Stuff is there, sometimes the server is jacked up and doesn't spawn anything. Most times hit up the south barracks and get the fuck out of dodge and you'll be good. Crossing the air field and looting the ATC, Hangars and other barracks aren't worth it in my opinion. I always find better gear in the south barracks. Btw the most fun I've had by myself in Day Z was scouting the entire AF by myself at night without NVG. I was prone the entire time and thankfully no one with NVG was there. The zeds were very scary because I had to rely on their shadows to see where they were, and it was pitch black when I got into the shadows.

ArmA 2 Combined Operations with the latest patches is a well polished game with more features and capability than most people can fathom. This is what you bought. A product that is well supported to this day even though it is 3 years old. I'm sorry the early-alpha-stage-mod you wish to play is not yet in it's final format.

I've found a medical box on top of Berezino hospital nearly every time I've gone up there. You also don't have to break any windows to get up there so it's a plus.

Go inland around the fields, I always find at least a cow and a goat west of Zel. Are the two cows up by the NE AF still invincible?
