To my understanding, being stuck on "loading" without a bar means that the hive is suffering from to many people connecting at once. Considering an update was just recently rolled out, a lot of servers were restarted and a lot of people logged out of the game and started downloading/reconnecting. Thus lagging the hive.

It'll be like that in the beginning, cause you don't know where to go. Earlier today I spent about 2 hours playing from scratch and walked away with an alice pack, PDW, M4A3, Ghille, and a camping tent waiting to be used. Sadly I got sniped. But now I'm back with almost the same exact loadout!

It's a problem with the server. A lot of servers are doing this, and seems to be tied to when the server was last restarted. Seems like their RAM simply needs a refresh, and the restarts does this. Just use a different server until the FPS-issue one is refreshed.

Dayz Commander's file host is no longer operating, it seems.

Dayz will be running the Arma 3 engine, before Arma even comes out. Funny right? :P

Happened to me too. I ended up getting killed by a hacker teleporting me in the air :P If you get teleported out, it'll take awhile.

I fail to see the justification for local banning of people who were accepting gear from a stranger. You're telling me you wouldn't take gear from a guy handing it to you, simply because he made it?

1) We had NVGs. 2) It's call desync. It was happening the entire time on the way down to cherno. 3) URAL can mow down trees without taking damage. You guys should really learn this game before you make accusations. 4) The nade actually hurt the ural a shit ton. Made the wheels go orange and the engine go red. I fixed it up after moving north a little bit to get away from you guys. 5) GG EDIT: Oh and you forgot Will.

I think that rule can apply when you die by legitimate reasons. But when a hacker teleports you 10 feet up in the air and you fall to your death, it's hardly legitimate. I'd accept a "shot by sniper in the dome" perfectly fine, because it'd be my fault for not scanning well enough. But "death by unavoidable reason" is just not acceptable.

I'll quote exactly what a friend of mine said when I mentioned that happened: "I'd have no problem if I got shot at and/or killed. But when a hacker teleports and kills me, I'm pissed off because of how unfair and cheap it was. I wouldn't even have a chance to fight back compared to those who play the game fairly."

So I was driving a white pickup around cherno when my game crashed. Somehow, when I logged back in, both me and my pickup were behind the pulpit area of the church in cherno and now I'm stuck here... I have nearly 600 zombie kills, 17 murders, and a bandit kill so I'd really rather not kill myself. Even if I wanted to, I couldn't because I don't have any explosives. What can I do?

Or, I can wait until a hacker teleports me 10 feet above the ground, I fall, die, and lose all my gear. Which just happened. Fucking stupid. No wonder people cheat in this game. It's either get killed by cheaters, or cheat so that the getting killed doesn't mean shit.

I bumped my V3S into a tree, and the engine/wheel icon went orange. None of the tires look bad, and now my V3 is going to the right as if there's a giant stake in the back of my car, and it's holding the back side of it motionless while the front rotates around said "stake" if I hold down W. If I hold down S it goes to the left, around the stake. I have fixed every single tire on the V3S and the "wheel" icon is still orange, and I'm still going to the right. I've tried logging in and out, nothing.

So I managed to fix it by shooting the left front tire, which made the right-front tire completely disappear. Then I repaired the right-front tire, and it worked perfectly fine. This makes no sense.

My clan had recently acquired a new server because the old one's hardware was hacked. We were happy to find that instantly on setup all the vehicles were at their spawn points and proceeded to fix and gather them, while setting up tents.. Fast forward to today (after a couple restarts) and after a restart this morning, everything has disappeared and the vehicles aren't respawning. What could be the reason for this?

My clan recently bought a server (Woohoo!) and we're trying to figure out how long it takes for vehicles to appear. I've heard between 3 hours and 1 day from the server first starting. Anyone know?

It's been restarted again since this happened, before I posted this. Didn't fix anything. Vehicles and tents are still gone.

Purchased from these guys awhile ago, loving it so far! First server we got was plagued by a hacker destroying the hardware of said server (weird, right?) but we got another in <1 hour without any extra pricing or setup fees/whathaveyou

Gotta agree. I'm perfectly fine with side chat being default disabled because it's not "realisitic", however I figured that admins should be allowed to decide whether or not they want side chat. If people don't like the "lack" of realism on side-chat servers, there would be plenty without it. As much as I like rocket and what he's done, his rules seem very... communist-like.
