have you run ARMA 2 CO as administrator? -
use dayz commander, click on versions and update your arma 2 and dayz to the latest version. It's also a 10 times better launcher.

here's the thing. I think the problem is in your name. There seem to be 2 daltons playing this game and one of them is the cheater using scripts. If you are innocent as you say you should report it to battleye cause one of the daltons for sure is innocent.

german servers and US have the most hackers from my experience. Just take that into account

i already have to go to the bathroom in real life and leave my character on the server. Dangerous enough :D let me explain the problem with this. All the other meters display danger. If you don't eat you can die, if you don't drink you can die, etc. If you don't take a shit the worst thing that can happen is you shit yourself...so what?... you smell a little that's basically it. Same with peeing.

Seriously??? It's your own fault. You need to be prepared for this more than for a drug deal. Make sure someone is covering you. Set conditions(if he comes with a weapon in his head he dies and vice-versa). There will always be someone who wants to backstab you that's how life is. Your job is to make sure that doesn't happen. Next time, take precautions

honestly it wouldn't even be possible on such a scale. And the inventory is too complicated for a controller. But on next gen consoles maybe. -
just use dayz commander. It's 10 times better! Make sure to cross the option to launch the game through steam if that bothers you

if you mean dayz simply download the files to your computer. You can find them on this site. Then go to this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\@DayZ\Addons. delete everything there and copy the files you just downloaded into that folder.

I was at the NW airfeld. 1500 humanity. After a few hours I go on a server and i'm in elektro, with the same gear but -1103 humanity. Didn't kill a single person. Also my debug monitor resets every time. It saves my kills cause i can see the m when i leave the server but every time i go and play the debug monitor says: 0 kills. I was at the NW airfield twice and got teleported back to elektro. Damn that cursing mountain dew. -
So.... i have a map, a compass, a watch but when i press m the map doesn't show my location. I was on a server where it showed it but i got kicked by the admin for no reason. Any other server doesn't display the location. Is it a glitch or have they disabled it?

we are paying to test this alpha??? No we're not!! You should be lucky you can even be in an alpha. Developers never give you the chance. They are experimenting and trying out new things. And once again... it's free... rocket isn't getting any money from you. And YEEES you bough arma 2 just for dayz blah blah blah. I bought a new internet service just to use google chrome that doesn't mean I'm paying for google chrome. And please be a bit more polite to people. -

It's in alpha and free. I just don't understand how people always seem to complain. The game isn't even that buggy. If you die it's your fault. -
it's true it's a curse but instant luck. I found one. Found some awesome weapons afterwards. Got killed by a hacker on the NWA. I found one yesterday again. Let's hope for the best.

it's a glitch. Same thing is happening to me. My humanity goes down and i have the bandit skin even if i just respawned. ut after 20 minutes i suddenly go into 1st person and my character is normal again.

it can't because the current map has 3 hot spots. Cherno, elektro and NW airfield. If they expand the map people will still be in these locations unless loot is more spread out throughout the map and other cities have more buildings you can go into and find loot.

So i've been thinking. We can carry 3 weapons in our inventory. A handgun, a rifle and a hatchet or a crowbar. Why is it that we have to drop the rifle to use the hatchet but not the other way around. Wouldn't it be easier if we simply had 1 extra weapon slot for a melee weapon. As everyone knows shooting in the middle of cherno is never a good idea. I mostly use a hatchet. And when i don't have a backpack yet I am a lot of times forced to not pick up a shotgun or a lee einfeld because i know i'll need the hatchet when i visit the city. What do you think?
