I was eating a burrito yesterday, and got no glitches at all. I would suggest doing the same. In all seriousness, there are a lot of fixes out there, but not one works for everyone. Either wait for the next build of DayZ, or just find some cover, log out, then log back in. That fixes it for me every time.

How about wearing the ghillie suit makes your temperature go up and you get thirsty a lot faster. This would require people to have to take it off frequently to move around and make sure they are stocked up on supplies. Laying down, sniping people all day long wouldn't work if you had to constantly drink, and the increased body heat would mess with your vision.

How about the ability to manually ring it, or shoot at the bell so it makes noise and alerts zombies? I've always secretly hoped that the bell would attract them in some way.

RC Cola isn't too bad, but Diet RC.. oh the horror.. It should take away 400 blood from drinking it; just like IRL.

There has been talk of offloading them to something more powerful. They designed the site thinking there wouldn't be that many people playing. Just like everything else about this mod, no one imagined it getting as popular as it is.

The only armed people I won't shoot is people with the hero skin.

I was thinking about how we could find our friends in DayZ without simply spawning together and ruining the game experience. What about a CB type radio that can be looted and is common. You and your friend(s) could tune to the same channel and a vague directional indicator would pop up. The closer you get, the more narrow the indicator becomes and acts as a subtle version of "I'm approaching a radio tower near a tree line" "Yeah, I can see that from the distance, we must be getting closer!" A CB mechanic could also be used in other ways, like having pre-set channels for emergency broadcast and others for survivors to find each other. Think side chat, but more realistic as you would have to be actively scanning channels and you would need to be within a signal radius. Thoughts?

Try this: Close DayZ Commander Browse to C:\Users\YourAccount\AppData\Local Delete the DayZCommander folder. Relaunch app. If you don't see the AppData folder, try manually typing the path in the Explorer address bar.

No, we should spawn with an AS50 Seeking Rocket Launcher. Problem solved until people find the Rocket Launcher that seeks the AS50 Seeking Rocket Launcher.

I should stop replying to the DayZ forum while i'm reading Reddit :) Others have suggested picking spawn points. I was just stating that I'm against it. Rocket keeps bringing up the disorienting mechanic on spawn. I like your idea, but if it's implemented, I would also like to see the removal of your initial spawn location at the bottom right after login. Keep people on their toes ;)

I like the idea of spawn points all over the map, but i'm not a fan of choosing spawn location. I want to be challenged, I want to fight for my life. I understand that it sucks when you get spawned on the other side of the map, far away from friends. Instead of a spawn choosing point, I would like to see a way to mark people as friends. Then when you respawn, It will try to choose a location close to them automatically. Giving people the ability to choose a spawn location will take a lot away from the game IMO.

Sorry, I did a bad job of explaining it. What I meant was that if friends both have a radio and are both on the same frequency, an indicator would show the general direction of the other person. If me and you were both lost and had a radio, we would be communicating landmarks to each other so we both have a vague idea of where we are. That would be the principal of having an indicator on the screen. Having just a waypoint marker on the screen and not having a gps/compass/map takes out the immersion of the game IMO. That was my justification of having the whole friend radio indicator mechanic.
