Well, my friends and I were playing on US 1476 and we actually were able to fix and fuel a helicopter. But when we came back just before we fixed it, we killed someone named BrokenIce and we killed him and we found someone he had killed. Then after we fixed it and fueled it then started the engine up 'someone' came by and shot us with the same weapon that BrokenIce had. We later come back and are searching Berezino and see him flying over in OUR helicopter. Coincidence? I doubt it. So please if the admin could ban this tool from the server, it would be greatly appreciated. Or at least contact me because we all had great loadouts with rare equipment. So thanks again and I hope this bullshit can be stopped.

Yea I guess that is possible, but I do want my damn camp back so that server host better re-restart it. Otherwise I am out a bunch of guns...A DMR, M16 M203, M4A3 CCO, and some other things that weren't mine. >:(

Well today me and a couple of my friends were playing on our "Home Server" where we have a large camp with tons of stuff we have collected. Anyway, we stumbled across a blue Ural just down the road from our camp and we tried fixing it up and driving it away. The thing is, it was stuck to the building that it was by and it couldn't be moved. Well after about 15 minutes of us messing with this truck, a Huey comes in out of nowhere. The people in the chopper all had Ghillies and decked out head to toe (I managed to kill one out and steal his AS-50 and NVGs and stuff). Before I was able to shoot one out, they flew over and saw we were next to the truck then suddenly the vehicle disappeared and the gunner started to shoot infected around me (Still don't understand why). Well as any person would, they would be scared when they were starting down the barrel of an M240 on a Huey and would shoot, as I did. Then I tried to hit the pilot but bullets didn't penetrate. And now to the point, can hackers despawn vehicles at will. Also the server restarted not long after that and now has not restarted for a few hours like it does normally so we can get our gear back. Also if the server gets restarted but doesn't re-restart then could that mean that they were trying to make the server 'fresh' I guess you could put it? But I am not trying to be a noob and I have looked into this enough to know that most people who come in with a Huey and decked out with Ghillies and what not are usually hackers. Still don't know if they were officially but it appeared that way. Also I tried looking for things like this but wasn't successful. So please if this is a repeat then just point me to the forum post and not tell me to go look for myself, because I did. Thanks everyone :) P.S. I wanted to take a screenshot but didn't have anything to do it with. Also the clan name in front of their names was [GM]. So if you see this clan, try to stay away, they appear, from what I saw to be hackers, or they have just been alive and very lucky for a long time.

I was in Berezino for about an hour looking for some engine parts and went through the whole town without seeing a single person and the server was at 40/40.

I mean look at Left 4 Dead...They are like Hussein Bolt. They can climb and do basically anything, maybe this 'infection' that is happening actually makes you better. Kinda like an airborne steroid haha

I think it would be cool to see some custom typed guns. If you have ever played Metro 2033, like those kinds of guns. Like guns that are made because military weapons aren't always there and there aren't always civi guns just lying around. I think a system kind of like Dead Rising would be pretty interesting to kind of make the gun yourself. Like find a barrel, stock, sights, etc. That is something I think would be pretty cool. It would probably be either very difficult to put in or impossible unless it was standalone.

I'm sorry but how am I supposed to get in touch with the admin? I have no idea how I am supposed to do that...

Well funny story about the Hatchet charging people. Well me and my friend were searching the Balota Airfield for some junk when a wild Hatchet guy appears and hits me in the side of the head! Luckily I acted quick and shot him in the knees with a Colt. Then I stood up moved back a little and he still came after me so I put two extra mags in him and blew him to pieces. Also I had three blood bags on me for my friend to give me a transfusion in a situation like this. I was also shot by an M14/DMR by Stary and lived. Ended up killing the two clan members that did it. One we sniped from 900yds away with a DMR and the second I ran up on with my trusty M14 AIM and shot him in the chest and head. And of couse the stupid annoyance Alt+F4d before he died because he was a wimp. >:(

Well I kinda just threw a buch of things in here, it was just what I was thinking so I wrote it down. Which one do you think was already suggested if you don't mind me asking?

That was exactly what I was thinking for most of this but the map CAN be made and easily encorporated into the game.

Well, today I was playing with a few friends when it hit me. Hey if we could get enough sandbags/barbed wire we could encamp an entire small town or small village. Finding all the sandbags would be VERY VERY time consuming but holding your own town would be incredible. Maybe if there were further things just for making bases/better camps, like being able to build small wooden bunkers or sandbag structures. I think being able to do something like this would be pretty cool since in a real life situation, I personally, would barricade my house and/or neighborhood to keep out bandits and zombies alike. Then to further add to this 'survival' factor, maybe if it were possible, add some sort of way you could build a water collection system for rain and what not. Also building farms (Animal and vegetables/fruits alike) would be pretty cool but that is something that would be hard to do. Just to add a more civil sort of 'survival' addition to the game. Instead of the 'hey gimme your beans or your face will be gone' kind of survival. I don't know if I am asking way to much or if these ideas would actually be cool for the game/beneficial. On a side note maybe we could also transfer this great DayZ gameplay over to a CUSTOM map made just for DayZ. Full of open landscapes and bigger cities than Cherno. After playing DayZ since it came out, I personally would like to bring my character to another landscape. I am sure some of you agree? Well there are some of my suggestions. Please if you think these are garbage or stupid then please say 'these blow big ones' in the nicest of ways. Thanks everyone and enjoy your apocalypse! :)

Why because I don't approve of killing someone without a purpose? I sometimes just farm kills for food, ammo, water, tools, etc. but not too often. We spend most of our time looting large places and we have found multiple vehicles and have fixed them all except the ATV...that is tomorrows mission! :P

Don't worry I almost had a stroke the one time. Me and my two friends were checking a deer stand when someone with an AKM tore up the stand. I managed to get away from the stand alright and we ran away into the woods a bit. Then my one friend (The one from the store) whipped up his DMR and saw someone and popped them with one in the chest and one in the head. Later to find out that if wasn't the guy with the AKM but a nooby with a Crossbow and a .45. Sad really. Guess he is just in the wrong place at the wrong time. :(
