The problem is that when I try to connect sometimes I get into the lobby but can't play. So when I get that I just get banned?

Hey, Me and 2 of my friends were about to play DayZ and noticed that there was an update, we download it only to find that all the servers were greyed out. One of them proceeded to join a server and had his screen fade out into darkness, and the other one spawned on the beach, without any of his gear. Now my question is: Did he lost all his stuff, or will he get it back somehow? On Mibbit #DayZ IRC they say that some of the people that logged in to 1.7.2.2 lost all their stuff and others didn't. GreetZ Me - JDD PS: We did already download 1.7.2.3 atm but I'm to scared to log in and lose my gear to. I GOT A FIX: https://twitter.com/...898837016780803 Rocket just posted on twitter that all the character from 41177 were transferred to a new server, just go into a server, click respawn, then abort join a new server an you will have all your gear back.
