Finding out who cheaters are takes time, by the time they are found and banned the everyone in the server is probably dead or DC'd if they are quick enough on the draw.

Awww you wrecked it. If you find an enemy camp with tons of loot its better off to just take what you want and leave all the tents and vehicles. They may not notice what you took if you stick to what they have multiples of. So if you need loot again just go back. Now that they know they will take more pains to hide their stuff. I currently have a few different camps I go between on different servers if I wanna switch guns or something. At one camp we got 4 pairs of NV, 4 ghillies, and a pile of guns and GPS. A week later we went back and they were nice enough to restock for us. Now 8 of us are all geared out. Thanks FOE server!!

those arent way points, those are map markers. They can only see them if you use the right communication channel. (ie. vehicle, direct, group). To set a way point you shift + Click on the map.

The processor is good, the X4 965 is pretty rad. I have the X4 965 Black Edition (just made for over clocking). The power supply doesnt affect your computers ability to run the game, it affects your computers ability to run. The high end GPU's take up some wattage for sure. My old rig ran 2 x Radeon HD2900's in crossfire and I had to use a 1kw or 1.2kw power supply. Those cards are over half a decade old now. For a GPU you could try pushing a little higher to keep this rig going farther into the future. Also if you decide to push to a 6970 you can save money by getting the 6950. Same power, just 3 less shader versions (which you can unlock if you know what you are doing but it will void your warrantee instantly).

Alot of towns have wells and fountains, you can also refill cantines at lakes and ponds. On the map, wells they are labelled with almost a black mcdonalds symbol with the outter ends cut off. Supermarkets ahave tons of pop as well as the pubs and cafe's in major cities.

Had 2 run ins with hackers this morning and escaped both with all my loot. Keep your task manager open on your desktop. The first time I was teleported to the debug forest before I loaded in and saw the huge list of everyone dying and my name was in there. I loaded into first person view of me falling over dead. Now when they teleport you it turns off your escape key functions so I alt+tabbed and ended the task before my death saved to the master server. Went into another server, found out I Was still all intact and back to where I should be. Ran around for about 15 minutes and got teleported to the Thunderdome with no gear. Escaped and D/C'd before anything bad happened. Logged in again and was hanging out with all my gear in the center of the airfield, brished the dust off and disappeared into the forests again.

The mother boards used for older dual cores are going to be harder and harder to come by now too. I put my old mother board up on craigslist and got some pretty good cash from a guy who was trying to keep his dual core going. I just put about $1000 into my rig around Christmas and got X4 965 Black Edition CPU AMD 6950 2g GPU Motherboard and 8gigs of ram. also other random accessories like a G9x mouse and fans and a heavy duty CPU air cooler to replace my liquid cooling. Also a copy of windows 7, cause XP just wasnt doing it anymore. Managed to keep my 1kw power supply and all my drives and case, ditched the liquid cooling though now that I dont have to run a 6 year old dual core at 3.5ghz.

Building a game to play arma 2 would be a silly idea. This game is a few years old and runs well on a pentium 2 duo extreme and an ATI hd2900. Just build a rig for arma 3 then most likely you can run DayZ when it becomes stand alone.

I dont think as many changes are going into ArmA 3 as originally planned. A clan mate watched an interview with Ivan i think and he said it didnt sound as awesome as previously thought. The mission editor is the same they've been using for 10 years from OFP, they toned down the ability to switch uniforms because it is against the geneva convention and a few other things.

There is a way coded to knock people out and steal their stuff, but in another mod "Island Life, Takistan Life or Zargabad Life". You can double tap left control to lower your weapon but to put it on your back means having your pistol or a rocket launcher in your hands.

It isnt DayZ, its ArmA 2. A game that is so easily mod-able, is also easy to make hacks for. One day battleeye will catch up, but then 10 more hack programs will be out. Also hackers tend to play the most popular game modes so they can ruin the most peoples fun. Previously when Takistan life or Zargabad life became the big thing, all the hackers came out and pooched it, before that Benny's Warfare was a good place to go if you wanted to find a hacker spawning 50 A-10's and SU-25's in the air all crashing into eachother and exploding constantly.

They might not put too much more work into Arma 2 other than optimising the multiplayer abilities to handle the higher demand brought from the increase in players from DayZ becaaaaause Arma 3 is almost ready. They aren't even putting anymore money into Take on Helicopters (which is a newer ranchise made as the base for the arma 3, super realistic flight model rumor says) until Arma 3 is out. I did hear of a contract for Rocket to develop DayZ as its own game, not 100% on it though.

Sometimes its because they are looting an area I went to look and I dont want to wait, or I dont want to wait to get their left overs. Sometimes it's cause I am being shot at (actually got jumped by 3 guys soon as I started this life 14 days and managed to get them all with an m4 and 1 mag from balota). Sometimes its cause the lot of us want to raid the airfield without incident so we will sneak in, surround it and depopulate it of players and other raiders. Sometimes its cause I see you have a better gun or a better backpack than I do (or ghillie suits, if I see a ghillie suit I asume good loot and lets face it, the best guns and loot help survival chances alot). And most of the time its cause I dont trust people to not shoot me, so I skip the whole asking friendly part and move straight to the bloody part.
