Dude, I could care less about you lifting the ban at this point, won't keep me from talking trash about you and your "clan" because you've just proven within two forum pages that you and your group are incompetent, have no idea what they are doing, and seems to just brashly insult anyone who opposes you. Sounds like to me you are a bunch of Butthurts... sorry to hear you have such a cult following in terms of hackers with hard-ons for WOLF members, but maybe if you wouldn't ban every person who kills you all, then people would stop flagging your server to get nuked, which is probably happening a lot more often I bet... Oh well, I'm not wasting money on a server noone plays on... Your avg. player count all day is around 6 on your server, so "thousands of players" is a big exaggeration...

Yeah I don't, but if it's a pretty long time, then a reasonable bunch of adults would look at, you know, total server playtime, the players stats, the time logging in and out, and maybe even whether I truly am running a script?? If not, then maybe the best thing to do is take more time than 2 minutes of notice or even talk to me directly, seeing as you have side chat... pretty pathetic argument from your side, seeing as all you give me is "I don't care." The main summary of the events taken place is: I find clan camp I use vehicles to get gear, get shot at, leave vehicle to bandits I get accused of stealing, tele-hacking, and being a bandit I find the clan camp near my old camp, loot and leave, get accused again I come back after some time to find a tent, find camp again, slightly new location, kill clan member I loot his body, get kicked I come back later that night, take the tent I find and some ammo, place in UAZ jeep and drive off to make a new base (been trying since Feb) I come back online next morning, clan members accuse me of hacking and insulting me, then proceed to kick and ban, almost 3 or 4 mins after placing all my gear in my tent for safe keeping So I want to ask, formally, for the members of WOLF to uplift the ban, let me retrieve at the very least my gear I had earned up to last night, and switch servers. I don't care to play on a server with clan hosts who are going to ban/kick anyone who can kill them. If WOLF wants to revoke that request, then at least post or send me the proof via email or PM, because I can assure that I have no adulterated game files, no hacks, no bots, no edge over anyone else in the server, unless you count gaming devices with macro keys "hacking." I'll be waiting for a response tonight... hope we can resolve this like adults, not like children who wants to exclude others from their fun...

Funny thing is I too was recently banned from 1252, from these same "goons" as everyone here is stating. GUID for any party interested : Flonominal Werewolf and Junesong, two member verbally attacking me, and server community was talking slander about my integrity of gaming, soon after I got banned. This all was attributed to me, luckily finding Junesong but not intentionally, and in the heat of the moment had shot him... It's not all that hard to do...

@roarboar Not to doodoo on anyone's parade, but if you aren't currently aware of this... Windows 7 and before all have poor optimization for anything more than a dual core; Even my 2500K doesn't see full utilization on all four cores, usually using up only 30% or less of subsequent cores after the first two. Windows 8 is, and I highly doubt they will keep this exclusive for long, rated to be optimized for Quad and Hexa-core processors; Not going to be the thing that saves W8 however. Not to mention that DirectX 10-11 are also poorly constructed to fully utilize the CPU's additional cores; DirectX 11's successor will more than likely be better equipped to handle the overhead left from unused resources. Ultimately the end result of these software faults and our bolstered hardware setups is the failure to achieve performance on par with what manufacturers and distributors are advertising. We live in an era where research and careful understanding goes a really long way. Sometimes you might misread or get mislead, and best thing to do is just take more caution on the next.

@VitaminK Yeah man, it's going beast mode in this Texas weather and heat; Roughly 80F in my house at all times due to AC saving, and I might want to reseat my cooler with some newer paste... but with 12-14 Fans whirling around (CPU and GPU included), the only thing that can help my temps at this point is a h2o cooler, and $400 ain't worth it atm... T.T

Let me paint a picture... My Rig: 2500K @4.5GHz 8GB 1866 MHz G.Skill RAM 2x GTX460 running SLi @820/1900/1640MHz X-Fi Fatality Card with an assumed 512Mb RAM 60GB OCZ Vertex2 SSD (Quite fast for Sandforce2) Settings IG: ALL are set to Normal, with exceptions to AA = Low, Shadows = High, Post-Proc = Low, Memory = Default, and Aniso = High. Draw Distance in DayZ is capped and static. FOV is currently Custom fit for my 24" 1080P monitors, calculated at a est. 83 degrees. Look up FOV tweaking for ARMA 2 if you wish to change this. Maximum FPS: No V-sync = 78~81FPS V-sync on = 60FPS Average FPS: No V-sync = ~58-63FPS V-Sync on = ~48-58FPS I recommend you take my setup and resulting performance into consideration when deciding what you want to have on IG and not. All settings apart from Texture, Memory, and Aniso Filter will result in heavy FPS flux, so start with low settings in all these and work up from there. Page tearing WILL occur even with V-sync on, but you will see a big difference in the amount while it is on; Not to mention that with very powerful cards vs. low end games, overdraw from 60+ FPS can cause less performance. Best choice you can make in order to break your 27FPS cap would be to buff your GPU; My 2500K will run two cores at roughly 60% load, while my two GF104 cores are pushing 90% load at all times. Also, and this is something more of a caution rather than advice, but I'm usually sitting at 68C max on CPU, and a whopping 78-82C from both GPUs, after a course of a few hours and massive air cooling, so be aware of what temps you might be running at after a while; More heat will usually cause safeguards to kick in and throttle performance on some PCs.

I know this may sound like an insult but.... well it kind of is... You might want to take some time to research more rather than read the first thing about something and decide you want to dish $$ for it... Might learn a thing about the media, too.

As far as I know, the PVS4 has no toggle; possible he is an admin/coded it in, but the usual key press would be "N."

I've been playing for about a week now, got a few friends who play now, but I have been getting a lot of issues with servers and keeping a good sync. No idea why, but every decent server I've seem to find has been riddled with a few connection drops, frequent server resets for no apparent reasons, or the dreaded "Let's fortify all the buildings in Cherno/Electro!" vibes from people. Any servers/clans who are active at keeping a decent restart schedules, located around or servicing the GMT -5 timezone, which possibly doesn't have super heavy traffic issues? Dallas servers would be more my area, but I seriously just want a server where I don't seem to lose connection every 15 mins.

I have recently updated to the newest BattlEye and BETA, and yes I did the BattlEye manually as it seemed to not work automatically, so now I am running 1.7.2.3 Beta 95054, and I have already encountered a few oddities... Currently as is I can load and everything, but all of my actions to pick up, check gear, move stuff, zoom, everything seems to be done via Double Clicking, rather than Single Click... I don't see a large problem with having to do that except when considering dbl tap actions and if you are trying to raid a city without too much wasted time, but I would really like to hear if anyone else has this issues occur.
