Rewards for surviving certain amounts of time. ATM there's no difference between someone who's survived for a month and someone who found a dead guy and picked up all his gear. People aren't attached to their character, they're attached to the gear. -

You got DayZ for free, just you were dumb enough to think you were spending money on it. You bought ARMA and that was your choice. I would be more than glad to buy another copy of DayZ, or maybe even two. I've spent almost 200 hours on it so far, according to Steam, and I think that's a fantastic amount of entertainment for 30 bucks. -

The main attributes you need are perseverance and confidence. Confidence for your voice and perseverance for your channel. Yogscast were making videos for like 2 years before they got noticed. Also note that it will most likely turn gaming into a job, and you'll lose a lot of enjoyment from playing them. So if you're seriously thinking about making a channel, you have to apply yourself and know what you're getting yourself into. -
